Why do athiests assume this means "faith can teleport mountains"

Also when mohammad said "if the mountain wont come to mohammad then mohammad must go to the mountain"was he having a dig at what Our Lord said about faith being able to move mountains.

I ask about mohammad because if it was a dig at Our Lord it would prove that mohammad was just a chancer.

Faith doesn't move mountains. Earthquakes do. You might attribute that to faith, but in reality, you are wrong.

Why don't you believe in Jesus' literal words? How do you decide whether that's meant metaphorically? Do you get to decide or do you let your minister decide for you?
