I think you are describing a term called walk-in's and yes, I do believe they walk among us - no pun intended! LOL. Yes, I believe in this but I don't worry about it. A walk in is a spirit who takes place of a person's soul to help them avoid drastic karmic influences. For example, the people at Masada in the bible. Before they committed genocide, some people's spirit left them, ascended to the other side (or heaven, if you will) and that gave the spirit the chance to enter into their body and take on the karma they would have had. Confusing? Hope not
But I also want to say, there are angels among us. Everyday angels. Like the person who helps others in times of need. I believe angels may materialize and then disappear when the situation is cleared up. I also believe some people are angels and they live a life like you and me.
I also believe spirits of animals can enter into animals just to check things out. They might even want to visit a loved one even though they are on the other side.

Lot was warned by an angel of the Lord. Since angels can change form they are the spirits that do move about the earth, but they are individuals with specific jobs to do. They are here to help us on a full time basis.

Absolutely, but whether we choose to receive the message is another question. Personally, there are no "coincidences" and most of the time, we may not even realize it's a heaven sent message until we reflect back on time.
Angels or messages come in many forms, even from a total stranger. But, both the messenger and the recipient need to be opened and ready to "believe" and "accept" the message, at that precise moment.
Unfortunately, for most of us, it takes longer to "respond" to God on a timely manner.

God's spirits normally don't move through animals, but the angels you mentioned appeared to Lot..and I believe that angels still appear now days to people

God is everywhere in His Spirit. In addition He has both the angels of heaven and the fallen angels of hell. Believe me when I say I've met a few of the later.

I have personally seen a demon, so I see no reason why there should not be angels. In the eastern philosophy, birds and fish evolve into angels, and I cannot tell you how many times a bird has flown in the path of my vehicle just in time to slow me down so that I would not get pulled over.
