Dinosaurs cannot save you. They could not even save themselves.

God and dinosaurs are not mutually exclusive. With some reflection it becomes apparent that creation and evolution are one and the same. Creation was not complete some time in the distant past, rather is an ongoing process which emerges before awareness as change i.e. evolution.

Science is not fallacious, rather reflects a limited paradigm. For all the explanations of the mechanics of the physical universe, there still exists the questions of "How?" and "Why?" A scientific understanding of how a flower blooms is reasonable enough, however to bear to witness the process can leave one in awe of the marvel. A diagram aids in comprehension of the process but how does the process even come about? Ultimately any explanation appears as a tautology.

The material reductionist accepts the reality of only that which can be observed, measured and reproduced using the scientific method. The concept of God appears immaterial as such; "Show me God." Yet the very premise of materialism itself is an intangible subjective concept which cannot be measured. Again this does not discount scientific understanding, rather acknowledges the context in which it exists.

Neither science nor divinity need necessarily be rejected. Both have pragmatic value in their own realms. Science has been a boon to human society in its forms of medicine, technology, education, etc. Spiritual principles, such as kindness, understanding, compassion, etc. are the foundation upon which all achieving societies are built. Many of the greatest scientists, such as Newton, Einstein et al. acknowledged divinity as the source of creation. And while many scientists begin as atheists or agnostics, as their knowledge grows, so too does their spirituality.

The debate of evolution vs creation simply reflects a limited perspective. From a large context it becomes apparent they are one in the same.

WoW! That Zoaraster sounds like a real nut job! Anyways, Dr. Robert Bakker a renowned Paleontologist (Dinosaur scientist) and author of the book Dinosaur Heresies, is a Christian. He also believes in evolution, and as another person said a pope actually accepted evolution as fact. The man attended Yale, and obtained his PhD from Harvard (he's no idiot). Do you really think all Christians are so dumb as to never consider dinosaurs? (Some are that dumb granted)

Since there is no Biblical doctrine concerning dinosaurs, any explanation from the basis of "Christianity" will be pure speculation. For myself, I don't explain dinosaurs. I figure that they occurred at some point in the history of the earth, and it doesn't really matter to my spiritual practices how or when they existed.

God knows his own program. I'm sure he has his reasons and methods, all of which are not currently completely apparrent to me. Faith is not something that needs to explain everything all at once. I wait for the explanation, and accept whatever evidence there is, which helps to clarify the picture puzzle, piece by piece.

Well first what is a dinosaur?
An extinct large animal or extinct small animal, that's not the same as we witness
alive on to days earth.
So if a 10,000 pound killer whale goes
extinct today and 1000 years from now I
guess he to would be a dinosaur when they
find his skeleton.
Dinosaurs are recorded in the bible in the
book of job of that time frame.
There are pictures of woolly mamouths
of earlier man on cave walls of that time frame.
The bible wasn't the only manuscripts written way back when, its the amazing
and accurate prophecy that keeps the bible alive.
And its just mere knowledge of the picture drawn on a cave walls in different places by different people that proves the existence of certain creatures we dont see
now, along with skeletons in plurality.
You could call them dinosaurs or just creatures that went extinct ....

No, Miss Tree, all creatures called dinosaurs were extinct long before any creature called a human. Despite the cartoons.
As for you, Jorge Alberto, the fact that this isn't your native language excuses grammar lapses, but it doesn't excuse assuming all Christians are Creationists! Pope Benedict XVI and his recent predecessors, lots of Catholics and mainstream Protestants and even some Evangelical Christians--and I--believe in *both* evolution AND God's creation. They aren't mutually exclusive. (Attributing a highly literal "inerrancy" to the Bible is probably incompatible with accepting evolution, but I'll let somebody discuss that who knows more about it than I do.)

Christians say that when God built the earth in seven days, the number 7 isn't really how long it took him: it's just a symbol. So, 1 day could be equal to like a billion years. So, if he created animals the "day" before people, he could have really created them billions of years before and then humans long after the dinosaurs died off.
Besides, everyone knows the events described in Genesis aren't really fact; one of my old religion teachers said they're like simple folk tales they used to tell to explain things. Think about it; it's much easier for someone to understand the passing of a few days as opposed to billions and millions of years of time.
And by the way, it's scientifically proven that the dinosaurs and humans did NOT coexist. So, it's not like any people in the old testament should remember them or anything.

Why? is there a problem? Dinosaurs were created before us. We lived with them. They died out with us on the flood. How do you think dinos got so big? The atmosphere was different pre-flood. How could dinos all be buried under the earth?

Generally, we believe that dinosaurs existed with mankind. Behemoth and Leviathan are two examples. (See Job 40:15 & 41:1)

I believe in the Pre- Adamite earth, before Adam in between Genesis 1-2. I And I think prehistorics existed in that time frame, and were destroyed., by a flood, because it says "NOW, the earth was formless and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep."
Hope this helps.
