Possibly a good quality guitar that has been provided by a local music store (when you start out people generally get the cheapest quality instrument that they can because they don't always choose to stick with it) You could also try getting guitar music or even negotiating a couple of free lessons with a guitar teacher. Have you any professional guitarists in the local area- is there a possibility that they might like to give a masterclass or personal concert in the winner's home for their friends and family.
These kind of things are a good idea especially if you can get a "money can't buy" type prize like the last idea. Hope this helps and good luck with your project!
