(For the believers of reincarnation) What were you in your previous life and how do you know?

and with the way you live your current life, what do you think you will be in your next term?

I have read in a couple of books on reincarnation, and heard through some television personalities such as Sylvia Brown (who seems to be a genuine psychic and not just a telepath), that one remembers certain parts of a past life when a specific trigger, such as a highly emotional experience or in some cases a specific song causes a memory similar to a flashback ( a flash of memory that sort of passes through the mind attached to a specific experience).
In my case, one 'flashback' was caused by a song by the same author of "Year of the cat" (I don't remember his name, I think it was Al Stewart). In it, one of the phrases talked about taking a train "deep into the heart of mother Russia".
My memory flashback was of getting off the train in a wooded grove and after walking a short distance, being gunned down in the middle of the grove, along with a lot of other people, all soldiers. I remember the feel of the wool uniform, the passing of the forest past the window of the train and oddly, the feel of the machine gun bullets ripping through my chest, and the feel of the grass and earth as I fell.
This could be chalked up to an active imagination but for two details: I did not know of such a mass murder at the time, and when I checked into the story I found a historical point ; sometime in 1943 when a group of Polish officers were supposed gunned down by German troops, the SS. There was one difference in my memory; The troops with the machine guns were not wearing either form of German uniforms. I knew they were Russians, because they spoke Russian. I did a little investigation into uniforms of the time and confirmed my suspicions and identified the general color and shape as Russian. This at first contradicted the early historical reports, until the fall of the old Soviet Union (15 years after the flashback) actually confirmed what I already 'knew from experience'. It was the Russians who committed the atrocity.
To properly confirm the difference between imagination and reincarnation, one must experience something that can 1) be identified as a true historical event and 2)have a significant point that can be specifically supported or in some provable way discounts the original historical premise and 3) is something the subject or person claiming the reincarnation event should not have any previous knowlege of.
In that case I believe I have met all three points. My failure was in not documenting the event in a public manner.

I was killed by an arrow. My former boyfriend in this life was leading my horse, and I was hovering over my body. I know it was related to Indians, but I have not yet been able to get that picture to do anything but stay frozen in my memory. It must have been very painful. That is why I have a birthmark there and the pain I felt there went away after that past-life hypnosis session.
In another memory, I was living as a Viking's wife, and I was actually very happy. He was my first husband in this life, and the indian frozen in the picture of the first memory. We had a miserable relationship in this life, and I am still trying to balance karma on that one.
In one other setting, I was in Greece, but it is pretty hazy.

I have been afraid to continue with the hypnosis because it is scary and painful. Trying to balance my karma so that I don't have to come back at all.

I have been all kinds of things, Poor, Rich, Powerful, and Powerless, Slave and Slave owner, on and on. I have had visions during body manipulation sessions.

This is my last life. The world is going to be entering a cleansing which is called many things, Armaggedon, End of the world, Age of enlightenment, etc. This is the time when we will all be Christ consciousness realized, if you choose to be, it is not mandatory. This happens after all the catastrophys are over. You could always choose to stay here in the third dimension. Or die because you didn't believe it was really going to happen. I have had enough of this place. The crapp is getting really thick here,(referring to earth, not yahoo.) Search engine "earth shift 2007-2012, Niburu". It is coming and you will not be warned by your protective and loving Government.

It's difficult to know..but some hypnotists know how to go back-scientifically proved-to previous lives,remember and re-live,sometimes horrible events....who want to do this?God gave us the mercy of forgetting our past so that we may repair our injustices done to others.Sometimes,within families,past ennemies are present!If this were revealed,what a tragedy!
Better learn how to stop the cycle of births and deaths by studying the words of sages,as we are all inbig trouble in this material world,however rich and famous one is:with death all oppulence is gone!Can your billions save you?

The websites you found that said you could give information about your current date of birth are either scams or just people messing around for fun. Over 250,000 people are estimated to be born each day. Information about your date of birth is the SAME information a quarter of a million other people have. There's no way you can use it to find out who you were in a past life. Sorry. :(

I was in ancient Rome, the French Revolution, a Spanish conquistador in the New World, and I'm not sure when or where it was, but I was executed by beheading once.
lol - I don't know, I just would have liked to have lived during those times. lol
