Take the bobby pin and press down and under firmly. Thats not really the best way to get rid one though.

Don't use a bobby pin, your fingernails, or anything else that is sharp or even slightly sharp. This will bruise and make a huge dark mark that will stay on for several days or even a week. I'm sure you don't want a huge ... THING that will accentuate a certain part of your face.

Anyhow, my friend's mom used to do facials for people and once she told us how to get rid of blackheads. You get two Q-tips and squeeze until the yellowish sebum comes out. Make sure only to wash with cold water for a day after that, because warm water will only make the pores bigger.

Do not use a bobby pin. Use a good quality tool like this after a steam facial: http://tweezerman.com/index.cfm?page=productdetail&prod=93

I tried the Revlon tool & didn't care for it. It didn't work well for me at all.

Here's how to give yourself a steam facial: http://www.ehow.com/how_2564_give-yourself-facial.html

Remove blackheads after step 6 & then proceed to step 7/applying a clay mask.

Recommended clay mask: Beauty w/o Cruelty clay mask.

If you don't have time for a facial, then use the blackhead remover after a steamy shower & apply a toner afterwards.

To keep blackheads @ bay, exfoliate every other day and use a mask at least once a week.

Products I love: Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads, Avon's Microdermabrasion face scrub or Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask - best used as mask

Do not use bobby pens or any other sharp utensils to remove blackheads, it won't do anything to help. The one and only product that ever helped me (and trust me, I've tried plenty) is Biore 'Pore Perfect.' It works like a charm.

The product I like best is the Deep Cleansing Pore Strips ($6.99)

You could get it at Target, Walmart, Longs Drug, etc. (Usually anywhere with a make-up aisle, they will have it.)

Description

Instantly pulls away oil and dirt build-up from all your problem areas. In just one use, are twice as effective as the leading pore cleanser at getting rid of pore-clogging build-up and blackheads. Formulated with a patented system to literally pull out dirt, oil and blackheads instantly. Custom fit to get dirt and oil in those hard to reach areas. Helps reduce the appearance of pores with regular use. For best results, do not use more often than once every three days.

How to use:

1. Remove strip from pouch. Before using nose strips, twist strip to loosen and separate slits featured on nose strips only.

2. After washing your face, thoroughly wet your nose or other face areas (where you have clogged pores or blackheads). The strip won't stick if skin is dry.

3. Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to skin, smooth side down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin.

4. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch - like papier-mâchéeacute;.

5. Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward center.

Ingredients

Nose Strips:
Polyquaternium-37, Silica, Water, Glycerin, Polysilicone-13, Peg-12 Dimethicone, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Stearyl Glycyrrhetinate, Butylene Glycol, Methylparaben.

Never heard of that but instead of ripping them out with a biore strip which can be pricy, use this instead, very effective.
Blackhead remover:

1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (knox works good)

2 tablespoons of milk

Instructions:

Put the milk in a glass bowl/mug and warm it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. Pour in the unflavored gelatin and stir until it's mixed together and not all chunky. Put on places that have blackheads (I put mine on my nose) and leave on for 30 minutes, then peel away! It gets very hard, but it shouldn't hurt or anything.
WORKS JUST AS WELL AS BIORE, WAY CHEAPER AND LESS CHEMICALS!

No, use this instead.

You'll find the directions once you buy this tool. It basically squeezes it out for you when you apply pressure to your skin. Be sure to always clean your skin and tool with alcohol first, so nothing will get infected.

Anything that doesn't damage your skin will do. You don't have fingernails?

Save them up when you take them out to top the whipped cream on a shrimp-flavored milkshake.
