If this is your only spiritual dilemma, you're probably luckier than most. Harry Potter, as you know, is not a real person. When you stop and think about the fact that lusting after a completely fictitious character is ridiculous, the feeling will probably fade away fairly quickly. As for the actor who plays Harry Potter, your chances of personally meeting him are virtually nil, so that's something else to keep in mind. Stepping outside the Harry Potter universe and engaging in an act of Christian charity that will help real, living people might be more spiritually satisfying than drooling over an unattainable storybook character.

Are you serious?????????????
OK, it is perfectly healthy to lust after whomever you think is lustable. You can either take care of your frustration yourself or with a partner. Then say 3 hail marys and go confess your sins.
More proper solution for a grown up devoted christian would be to get married sothat your physical needs, lusts, frustrations are all satisfied under the sanctitiy of marriage, and everybody wins.
Don't be ashamed of having passion in any form, just realize that there are consequences to the actions you will take and act accordingly and you will be fine. I think marriage is the only way for a christian with a passion to lead her life in the right way. Good luck to you.
Don't worry it is not that unusual to lust after fictional characters.

Harry Potter is a fictional character....go after the actor. It's OK to lust if you're in love. Desire is not a sin until your desire turns into a sin. Here's how your prayer should go..."Dear God, my lust got turned on......I want him.....you said go ye forth and propagate...but please.... turn my lust into loyal love or, with the strike of a lightning bolt, turn me into an old maid who doesn't have a sex drive anymore. I want to be good but I am confused. "

First off, how old are you? If you are in your teen years, I wouldn't worry too much about it - the images will fade eventually. Keep the faith and when the images come to your mind, think of other things, or do something that requires concentration. Good luck!

Firstly harry potter is not hot!!! Lol - gese girl - if you think that you gotta get out more or come over to australia and i will show you what hot is (me!) :P
Just have some self control and master yourself. It is not easy but with mental excercises and willpower you can control them. Keep on praying.

You have what is called, an "infatuation" with his "character" right now.
The person who "plays" Harry Potter, is "gay"..(yea, sorry to break the news to you, but that guy is, and you wouldnt be any interest to him at all).
So, go about your normal life and find some young man to spark your fancy.
I wish you well...
Jesse
