Forget about "prosyitising" or however however that's spelled. That isn't the question here. I gather whether they come to your door or don't; I'm sure they don't for the (I would think) obvious reason that it's a racialist religion. But the question is: what do you think of the religion itself? The text, the practice, and so on? It is a religion you exempt from your alleged atheism?

I'm "an idiot" because atheists never comment on Judaism, leaving us in the dark as to their views? Rude lady -must be an atheist, probably tipsy.

No intelligent response from an athiest, several from jews. Interesting. "Racialist" refers to orgs that are racially-oriented but not hostile (racist( to others; for example an org for Italian-Americans is racialist but not racist. Really obnoxiousinsult comments from the atheists. Aren't they attractive? Imagine them running a country. Free heroin, child prostitution, forced abortion. Cute.

Some of the customs are strange. Circumcisions aren't an occasion for celebration in my opinion. My feelings depend upon which sect you are referring to. Orthodox, for example, bothers me very much. Reconstructionist Jews are much more lenient and reasonable.

Atheists no nothing of judaism.
Judaism is very simple indeed, the purpose of judaism is to reject superstitions. Judaism rejected the thousands Gods that existed in the ancient times and unified them into one and unique concept.
Secondly, they invented the lord's day, the day without having to work: the Shabbat who is now used all over the world (even if it's a different day). They invented the 10 basic laws.
of Moses.
They invented the respect of the others, that means even if they are of a different religion, considering that there is only one God, as far that all on earth (nature) we all are sons of God. Thats why they don't make any proselytism.
To think that the jews is a racialist religion is completely false.
They don't want to compete with others.

The social laws in wich we live today where already written in the bible. Respect of the women, respect of the animals make the judaism a very modern religion.

Well, cnsidering since the holocaust, the Jews relationship with their God has turned to distrust, therefore Atheism/agnosticism for the most part..

Judaism is a partnership, not a kiss up fest. And it isn't a racial faith. I could become a reform Jew, and if I managed to have a child with a Jewish woman, the child wouldd be able to be an Orthodox.

I just realized, you're Georgiegirl. Crap. I've wasted answers.

I doubt all atheists have the same opinion on Judaism. Atheists do not believe in any God; therefore, they probably disagree with Jews on this matter. However, the average atheist will not pass judgment on a religion just because he or she does not happen to believe in it.

I'm not sure what you're getting at. I don't care if they're Christian, Jewish, Muslim or an animist who believes in nature spirits living in rocks. I'm an atheist because I see no evidence of *any* god, no matter the religion.

As far as Jewish religious texts, customs and practices I think it's all rather silly. Of course that's my opinion of any religion.

What is there to say about Judaism. They believe in a God. As an atheist, I don't. End of story.

To each his own!!! I don't care what they do, as long as they do not interfere with my life. And that is highly unlikely. Everyone should have the freedom to believe what they want. That is, of course, not true with fundamentalist christians where they try and stuff their beliefs down your throat and keep their believers in tow with scare tactics.

Same old food fetishism, obnoxious practices, prejudice and arrogance you get with every world religion.

Jews, however, are wonderful. I married one and so my kids are Jewish too.

As a religion, it's rididulous, but as people they are generally intelligent, educated and keep to themselves. I have a lot of respect for that.
