I'm so confused. Here is the actual question: 0.10M NaCl solution is _____________(iso/hypo/hypertonic) to a 0.10M glucose solution. Please help!

in fact NOT! These 2 solutions are isoosmotic but are not isotonic.. cos, as I know, tonicity is related to the number of particles within the solution. According to that, the NaCl solution should be hypertonic to the glucose solution. Because in the solution, the NaCl will be Na+ and Cl- so that the actual number of particles is as twice as that of glucose eventhough both solutions have the same one M.
Gd luck.
