I remember it being it's own scripture. it was the only thing it said.
religion is man made. I can't find it now anywhere. I am writing a paper and I need to quote it. Do you know where it is? If there is another scripture that explains how God feels about religion, please let me know. I would love to finish my paper with this (or multiple) scripture(s) regarding religion and it being made of man. My paper is due, today-very soon , I'm scrambling and .... I can't find it anywhere...not even the net!

1. Isaiah 29:13
The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men.

I heard these definitions once= thought they were good
RELIGION- man's attempt to find God
RELATIONSHIP- God's way to find man through Christ

No it doesn't. It describes false religious traditions. But it also describes the attributes of "true religion", by that name.
