Because most of the people on here are probably from the United States, and the greatest presence here is the Christians, so the Atheists take the greatest notice of them and know relatively little about Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and so on.

It's because disrespect begets disrespect. One side will end up saying something that the other side doesn't like or takes offense to and then the other side will end up retaliating. Plus there are some people who feel that they are behind a computer and don't plan on meeting anybody and talking to them face to face so therefore they feel that they can treat anybody anyway that they feel like doing so. When people start thinking like that then there is no regards for any-body's feelings or anything else for that matter.

Well, frankly, it disturbs me to see how the Christians in our nation hold so much sway, from our laws, to our government, to our schools, and I figure a way to combat the spread of that nasty influence is to do this.

I'm kidding, I just find it entertaining. The above is true, however.

Probably because they both think they know what they are talking about. In reality, we DON'T have any idea of where we come from or what we really are. Ehhh well. Just live I say.

because let's face it we are stubborn and we try to get our points across and when others refuse to listen and believe we get frustrated (we meaning Christians and Atheists) and we all know it's true.

It's all in fun. They know they're going to heaven, and we know we're going to hell, so we kid each other until the Rapture comes along.
