Well said
I agree with you. I have also notice that most who profess to be atheists have no restraint. There is no sense of " governing " in their person. They seem to think that because I do not believe in God that I am not accountable to God and can do and say as i please. The fact is..no atheist has ever been a source of life or light to anyone.. they remind me of the questioning serpent in the garden.. approaching eve saying " did God say? Did God say?" Its no wonder eve chose to partake of " knowledge " instead of Life afterwards...
Satan has twisted the mind of so many that they question everything
One song writer said once
" the simplicity of God somehow escapes man"
this is too true..TO think that by simply calling upon the name of the Lord can save u seems too low ....too easy.. but God has gone through a long process to make Himself available to us as the Spirit..
I just trust that many atheists will be rescued by the Lord out of the questioning mind to see the Light of the GLorious gospel of Christ Jesus

The very secular Japan, the Netherlands, even Britain and a few other European democracies feature very high standards of living, and, you guessed it, reasonably secular societies.
Are you forgetting about the eleven million people killed in the Holocaust, some six million because of their beliefs? And the very religious areas of the Middle East, do bad things not happen there?
The poorest places in the world are among the most religious, and with the exception being the United States, secular democracies afford the best places to live.
So all the hurricanes and the earthquakes in the very religious US, that is because Americans aren't religious?
I do not blame a thing that doesn't exist. The phrases you listed are so of the things to consider if one does believe in a god, as they are rather damning to that belief.

You are right, if a person is an atheist, then they can't blame god of anything. I have not seen where they have, usually if a person makes a statement about not believing god exists, they don't blame him or any supreme power, they just don't. But if I was you, I think I would worry more about grammar and English, and let god fend for himself, after all, he is the one with all the power, or don't you believe that? I think all you god fearing people should let him show us free thinkers who's the boss.

First of, your facts are wrong. Bad things don't happen any more or less in countries and places where people don't believe in god. That is a nonsense statement, so we'll disregard that.
We ask "if god exists, then why blah blah blah" to get you to think. If you would simply think about the questions, you would soon come to the conclusion that god does not and cannot exist.
Here's one for you to actually think about:
If god exists, why did he create adam and eve knowing they would disobey him if he ordered them not to eat from the tree? Why would he simply not have that condition in the first place? Then the perfect god could have enjoyed the perfect people for all eternity.
No sane god would ever do that. god does not exist, the bible is a fable.

Asking for proof of His existance isn't blaming Him for a cotton-picking thing. If an Atheist were blaming God, he'd say, "Why does God allow blah, blah, blah to happen," instead of prefixing his question with "IF GOD EXISTS..." Which, of course, would mean that the asker isn't truly Atheist... merely mad at God.
Your statement that more bad things happen in areas of low to no faith interests me. Where, exactly, are you talking about? Most third-world countries are LOADED with religion. America is also full of beleivers... but also full of murder and violent crimes such as rape and assualt. I'm not saying religion did all that; just looking for a little consistency.
As I am also with your statement that natural disasters tend to happen more in areas full of non-believers. Making up "facts" doesn't actually produce facts. And if you're not making this stuff up, please edit your question with sources and links--as I know that I for one am quite interested in reading up on this apparently interesting phenomenon.

Hi, I am atheist and do not blame god or any other divinity. But I love to bring down the church and the pope. They do exist and they make loads of damages.

Why would an Atheist talk about God?
Actually why would anybody talk about it?
The subject is a highly personal one and varies from person to person . Which is why people fight wars over differences of beliefs.Talking about something doesn't make something real or unreal, and what is real to you may not be real to another. What you are and what you believe in will show in what you do in your lifetime, not in what you say you believe in

God does not do these things. Its nature at work isn't it? I think we tend to blame others for things we can't control or fully understand. And sometimes when we are threatened, whether its by the way we live, or believe we blame something or someone for what occurs.

LawNerd. I truly hope you're not training to be a lawyer. With this flimsy exhibit of poor grammar and logic, what hope is there for your defendants?
I don't blame God for anything. And your statement that more bad things happen because of a disbelief in god is specious. People simply need to quit seeing themselves as victims and start taking action.
