Interesting you should ask. Not long ago, a well respected team of creationist scientists who were studying samples of some of the oldest rocks on earth (about 6000 yrs), stumbled across a suspicious talking serpent. When asked, "Do you believe Satan is a real entity", the serpent lied, as all talking serpents tend to do, by saying "of course not, are you kidding me? Damn, you humans haven't evolved at all, have you?"
The serpent was quickly captured and whisked off to a secret location for further questioning - and after a few hours of undergoing a series of effective, yet humane, stress positions, the serpent finally cracked and revealed the truth.
I can't disclose most of the interview because it's classified, but I can tell you this. When asked again, "Do you believe Satan is a real entity", the serpent replied "Yes. And evolution is a crock".
This is big news. Really important stuff. Why does the liberal atheist media refuse to pick it up?

In the Bible, there are two satan entities, and they are not the same entity. In the Hebrew Scripture, the satan, as a created angel, serves to be a hinderer or accuser... Also as an accuser (Job) or hinderer,(Judges) which lists two historical persons served that purpose.
In the so called New Testament, the Satan is an entirely fictional entity, corelating to , the Devil, and several other evil creatures, which in later centuries was enhanced to be the counterpoint entity to the Creator God, but this is more a plagarism of several pagan type Greek mythologies. That the Christian church adopted the Satan entity from the Greek Myths speakes much for the popularity of those religions. To compare or cojoin the Hebrew satan entity with the NT Satan is a major work of Fiction synergism.

I'm sure that there is at least one decieving and manipulative entity in this Universe. The real question is, Is the devil really the way the bible describes him. Or is it exagerated just like all the descriptions about God. What it comes down to is how easily are you fooled. Do you think for yourself or are you very easily influenced. I think of Satan as a big joker much like all the smartazzes here on Y!A! I also know that Satan doesn't rule in a place called hell. Hell is here on earth right now in case you haven't noticed. Heaven is here also. Its what you choose to experience that makes earth one or the other. Satan can't make you do anything. Its all up to you. If God can't interfere with free will then what makes you think satan can. Its the decision maker that has the final say. Don't give your power away to anyone!

If Satan is a real entity, therefore god is at fault for his existence...why? Because he created everything, and that would mean an omnipotent (yes all-good) god created evil also. So how can he be omnipotent? So long stroy short, no I dun believe in the existence of satan, and for the existence of a supreme all powerful being pervading the heavens, that is still an issue I haven't yet come to a conclusion too. (Yes, I am agnostic!)

Of course I do and the reason I do is can't you notice that every day the world gets worse and worse its all because of Satan
Revelation :12 7-9 7 And war broke out in heaven: Mi´cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him

Satan...lol. Summer, I don't believe in other guy or Satan. As far as I'm concerned, humanity is its own Satan.
I would say humanity is its own God too, but I'm too much a cynical malcontent to acknowledge anything divine in a creature thats poops just like a bear does.

Satan was an Angel, he tried to go against God and was thrown out, his name was Lucifer. He is running loose on the earth today. But soon, he will be destroyed. Right now, you are given a choice, who do you want to follow, God or Satan? Choose wisely.

The thing is.. when God created man he said that he was "Good"
God was pleased with man that He created..
Since then we know of what the bible's accounts of what takes place in Genesis.. the deception and usurpation of man by satan.
Satan is very real and we see the results of his realness in mankind's degradation and corruption.
He turned this man that God declared as " Good" and totally ruined Him for what God originaly intended for man.
I was reading the papers recently of a drug addicted mother in toronto who has a 12 yr old mentally challenged daughter who she allowed men ranging from ages19-55 to use and abuse sexually in exchange for drugs and money.
If this is not one of the results of the realness of satan.. then I don't know what is.
He is the embodiment of all things evil and has corrupted men and women to the uttermost..
Thank the Lord for not being deterred in rescuing man and restoring him back to What He planned and purposed since eternity past.
May we be kept out of the hands of the evil one..
Like the Lord Jesus's prayer to the Father regarding us ..
" Keep them out of the hands of the evil one. sanctify them in the truth... Your Word is truth "Jn 17 17

Yes, I believe the Bible the word of God and the Bible tells how an Angel became Satan. He is an Angel who rebelled against God, because he was jealous and greedy and wanted to be worshiped instead of God. He was banned from Heaven and he roams earth with his demons (angels that also rebelled against God and became his followers). Their main objective is to get people to turn their back to God, to make them believe he does not exist and that he doesn't care. He is behind all evil making it seem innocent. He does exist...
