If you are proficient at word processing I would suggest looking for stay at home data entry positions. There are a few companies that will send you a bunch of stuff that needs to be entered into a databank. I think you are required to enter a set amount in a certain number of days or hours. Also you could do online schooling to learn medical transcription and work out of your home doing that. You can try some of the resources at this website as well. Good luck!

How are you around people? I find that I get more depressed when I seclude myself so having to interact with other people helps keep my mood more positive. However, if you are scared of open spaces, retail may not be the best option. Maybe working with people over the phone may be a possibility.

Remember that depression is covered in the American's with Disability's Act so you may be able to file for social security benefits if you are unable to work.

Any job is good but with the diagnosis of agoraphobia you may have other limitations of choice. I suggest you contact your State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. They can test you and provide input on good vocational choices, and perhaps even some training or job leads.

well if you are trying to find a job that accomodates your depression and agorophobia you're gonna look long and hard. The truth is that you dont have to live with these, you just have to solve (or come to terms with) the reason for your depression and fear. So don't adjust your life and job to your problems adjust your problems to your life. if you're depressed and outdoors job would probably work better than indoor and preferably working around people

every job is great. It just has to do with mingling among people. Dont sit in a dark corner of your room. Come out and live as much as possible.
