This is a new one on me.

I suspect that that the idea of a 3rd Testament has surfaced several times. It seems that this idea of 3 testaments uses the idea of the ages of the father, son and holy spirit. This then becomes an argument that the 3rd Testament is the final revelation.

The idea of a final revelation after which there can be no more also seems to be a common idea. It is a way of trying (usually unsuccessfully) stop further development after the proclamation of the final revelation.

No, it extremely isn't any longer permitted for a needed objective. Christianity for probable the main factor believes that the final public revelation of Jesus and His notice died with the stunning Apostle John. New scripture previous the age of the Apostles isn't permitted because of the fact Christians do no longer evaluate God has found out some thing new. The deposit of religion have been submitted for us to now delve into and expound. So the scriptures have been compiled into the Bible and interpreted into Doctrine. The Koran positively has many properly concerns approximately it and in a concentrated sense is a holy e-e book, whether it extremely isn't any longer a Christian e-e book. It does now no longer help the Doctrine of the Incarnation.
