C. Ecosystems rely on bacteria to decompose dead organic matter and wastes so the materials can be returned to the food chain. Otherwise, plants wouldn't be able to grow and the food chains would be interrupted.
The other three answers are correct if you replace "most" with the word "some".

Since it was isolated from soil I am assuming it is anerobic and that leads me to Clostridium bifermentans. The negative urease is the deciding test to eliminate the other contender Clostridium sordellii The tests really don't lead you through the correct steps for identification. Good luck to you
