If the Mexican loyalists legalize the Illegals how long before we reach a billion in population?

I say less than 100 years because Mexican families living in the US reproduce at a much higher rate than natives. If the 10 to 20 million are legalized they will become anchor families and will be allowed to bring in relatives. With 4+ children for every two breeding adults and a cycle that starts again in the late teenage years we could see a billion people in 75 years.

Population growth in a developed nation doesn't follow that kind of progression. As immigrants assimilate, thier 'fertility rate' (the number of children they choose to have), drops to or below replacement.

Since the last 'boomer' was born in 1965, the rate of pupulation increase in the US has been based on the rate of immigration.

our economy is doomed. we are having a hard time supplying this country now. all bush is worried about is getting money to fund his war. all this is going to back fire in their faces, and the middle class and poor Americans will have to feel the end of it.
