No...nor do I believe in demonic possession. Its an archaic concept that through science we know does not happen.

Who is to say that it is really demonic possession maybe the possessed people just have some kind of health problem, that over the years has been labeled by certain groups as demonic possession. But really if the person went to a doc about the problem they could be prescribed drugs that would take away the problems. You don't need proof if God exists you either believe or don't . There is always going to be controversy and questions, you just have to know what you believe.

there is actual information of a God that exists or existed. That information is us. Now seem at it this sort: we are here, alive and respiration. some style of existence source had to of created our existence rigidity. whether God is a capability in area or another being, he does exist. human beings like prefer to assert it became the super bang that created each and every thing. yet how approximately this: What if the super bang became God? easy count number and dark count number colliding, could reason the creation of each and every thing. even with the undeniable fact that it is going previous our comprehension. existence can no longer come from some thing that would not encompass existence. If there became no existence, then there may be no existence. Our physique is created from capability and that's what God is created from. this is how we are in his photograph. that could desire to be how he's with everybody in any respect time. as quickly as we die, our soul (capability) can no longer die. It could desire to the two bypass into yet another existence (Reincarnation) or decrease back to the main considerable source. capability could desire to proceed to be shifting through fact ineffective gadgets do no longer incorporate capability.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

A lot of folks think believing in Satan and demon possession is "medieval" and archaic.
LOL Satan would love us to keep on believing that.
If possession were a "mental disorder" how do you explain the successful exorcisms by priests? They are not licensed psychologists nor do they use scientific method or medication.
Demonic possesion is real and documented, as are the exorcism that suceed in freeing people. Exorcisms by a valid priest work by calling upon the power of Jesus Christ to dispel the demon, so yes it is evidence of God's existence, and Jesus Christ.
In fact, one of the miracles Jesus performed to prove His divinity was to cast demons out. Only God has that power.
By the way, if someone who is NOT a validly ordained priest is telling you they can cast out demons - BEWARE. The Devil will give power to those who ask for it simply for the purpose of leading them away from God.

As a person with a lot of experience in demonology, I'd say no.
90% is easily explained away.
I believe in it. I know it's real.
However, there are FAR too many out there who want to write off every little psychological blip as demonic. FAR too many out there who want to launch immediately into deliverance without proper examination of the events and individual.
Which makes determination of the genuine darn near impossible.
The only thing that can't be explained away is the very rare instance of levitation. It happens. But not often.

You asked a question then removed it. but it stated. Does anyone believe in God but not the Bible. you go on to say that the Bible has error and that it says the Earth is flat. I just wanted to inform you on this topic. Sorry this answer has nothing to do with the question on Demonic Possesion.
Well for one, most people don't believe the Bible because they don't really understand it, and they don't take the time to study out Verses in the contest to see what its really saying. Myself I Believe the Bible is perfect.
PS. The Bible never states the earth is flat it states the earth is round round.
Isaiah 40:22
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Sorry: No gods, no demons, no devils, no possessions. Just plain old (treatable) mental illness. I hate to ruin your day.

I have never seen proof that a demon possesed anyone. There are perfectly rational explinations of mental and physical disorders which these people are denied treatment for in the name of "evil". Its sad really.
