what people fail to see is this has been in the making for decades, when I was younger our housekeeper used to say that California was the Latino crossroads of the world and that someday there would be so many Latinos living here that it would be there's again, there government supports this, because the money sent back to Mexico supports their economy, but if 12 million (and I believe the number will be much higher) of them become citizens they will vote our laws away, and instill their own laws as they see fit, they will now have the power to vote, and if only 1/4 of them do this, they will have more voting power than anyone else! and they know this, that is why our Mayor here in los angeles marched with them, standing in the front row screaming, we want citizen ship, i guess he forgot the was not an illegal, he and every Mexican politician knows this will be a HUGE factor in coming elections! We truly giving America away!

It depends on the individual. It could be that the Mexican that crossed the border illegally could be "law abiding" as soon as the bill that provides the path to amend his/her violation of the the first law is made law; and the procedures to gain that end is completed.
At that point if they no longer break a law the are law abiding.
hope you can understand what I just said.
on the flip side, there might be some who chose not to complete the steps to amend their violation of the law and not become "Legal"
etc. etc. it is upon the individual.

Assimilation has historically taken two generations.
Law-abiding, however, is something you can't gaurantee in such a large population. Some will never break a law again once legalized, others will never stop breaking them...

about 10. i saw on the news today where two hispanic girls was in a fight, do you believe 3 girls and a mom jumped one girl? they was all hispanics. mom couldn't speak English. i think we need to deport all illegals and their anchor baby's.
