Start with original sin, which we know is meaningless because even tho' little babies are born with it, they all go to heaven if they die young.
So much for original sin.
Let's look at regular sin. Well, that's no problem. Any time your conscience is bugging you, ask Sky Daddy for forgiveness and he automatically forgives you, no questions asked and no penalties incurred. You still get to go to heaven.
So obviously regular sin is no problem either.
How does one become a "Christian"? Simple, 'humble' yourself when you are alone with Sky Daddy and he gives you a ticket to heaven.
Sky Daddy never talks, never shows up, never lectures, never makes you feel bad about what you are doing, forgives everything you do wrong, Sky Daddy "loves" you, no matter how stupid or bigotted you are.
"Christianity" is as easy as falling off a log. You don't actually have to -do- anything except mouth the empty words "Jesus is my personal saviour".
Is that "Christianity" in a nut shell?

yep, 1-2-3 repeat after me, get your 007 license to sin right here and then go do whatever you like, just remember to use the code phrase when you get busted: "We're not perfect, just forgiven".

To get saved you must Believe in your heart, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is lord, and you must want him to come into your heart. When you ask the lord to forgive you, he forgets all the bad things you've done in the past. Its like, when you spill grape juice on your shirt, and you throw it in the washer, and it comes out clean. He doesn't hold anything agaisnt you. And even if you are not saved, he still loves you no matter what. And its not just saying "Jesus is my personal saviour" with your mouth, you have to LIVE IT, you have to make a change in your life. So anybody can say "yeah i'm saved...hes my saviour" but not actually live the life. Read the bible.

NO it's not. Christianity is not merely of professing Jesus as lord and savior and being saved, it is about a total conversion of self, repenting of sins, following the commandments and living a Holy Life. Jesus know there are alot of hipocrites who claim to be Christians, but live a destructive sinful lifestyle.
Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter" Matthew 7:21
An official asked Jesus, "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" Luke 18:18
You know the commandments: Never commit adultery. Never murder. Never steal. Never give false testimony. Honor your father and your mother." Luke 18:20

NO it is not. Forgiveness does not work that way. Not in the Catholic Church anyway. How do you know all babies go to heaven? You know its funny if Christianity were stricter you would criticize it. But since you think its not and that its to lenient, you criticize it. So no matter how Christianity is applied Satan attacks it.

Nope- it's the complete opposite of true Christianity!
"Original sin", as you call it, affects us all but doesn't necessarily condemn us all. The ransom sacrifice of Jesus allows atonement for our sins, but that's not as simple as you make it out to be.
When we sin, we are not protected from the consequences of our bad decisions. Unwanted pregnancy, STD's, broken families, guily consciences, civil penalities, etc. are all results of sin that we must face, even if we are truly repentant. King David was a loyal follower of God who sinned and was truly sorry, but still faced turmoil for the rest of his life as a result of his sin and it's effects.
"Sky Daddy" is very specific on His requirements and also attitudes towards willful sin. He is loving and forgiving, but also just and righteous.
"Faith without works is dead." One cannot please God by simply expressing faith or love for God- action and life changes are required. Jesus warned his disciples that they would be "hated" because of being "no part of this world, just as I am no part of this world."
So clearly, Jesus was in no way suggesting that his followers would be on Easy Street, as it were. He was letting them know that following him would require them to pick up their own "torture stake" and forgo many comforts and conveniences to truly call themselves "Christians."
The same is true for all who rightly claim to be Christian today- the follow the footsteps that Jesus so perfectly laid out for us.

you seem to have a "nutshell" idea of what Christianity is....
And you are so far off base that I couldn't possibly begin to help you out here unless I were to write a book.
You're best bet is find a local minister and ask him to explain Christianity, Christians, Jesus, God and what we are all about.

You are not a Christian. You clothe yourself as a Christian but you are a false one.

That is Protestant Christianity in a nut shell.
Catholics believe a baby will be judged by God through means unknown to us, We believe that we need to both have faith that Jesus is our savior, as well as follow Jesus' example (ie good works) we are looked upon as heretics by our Protestant brethren but "faith without works is dead."
