i'm graduating in a few days and when i have my graduation party i would hope the gifts would be at least 20 bucks. usually i can afford to part with about that amount of money so i definately wouldn't be upset with $20 and up. the key is though, how much money can YOU afford to part with as a gift? if its more give more. be generous. you'll feel good about it.

There is no set amount. Give what you feel in your heart you want to give. When I graduated, the gifts ranged from 20-100, depending on how close I was to the relative.

I'd say it depends on a couple of things. First, what you can afford. Second, how close you are to your family member. And thirdly, wether it's an elementery, junior high, high school or college graduation.

Part of it depends upon what you can afford and how close you are to the family member. I'd say $25.00-$100.00 would be a good amount.

Are you guys crazy? Giving somebody money because he/she graduated?
A student that is doing his best in school and/or graduating is not an achievement, that is his JOB!
That's what he suppose to do.
