The first thing we need to do is make beano less expensive. Cattle raising is an industry, and if there is no pay-off, then there is no deal. Until you can get beano manufactured in a way that makes it CHEAP and CONVENIENT to feed on a large scale basis, PLUS develop a market which demands fart-less beef, this idea will go nowhere.

You don't know the long term effect of this. Maybe the cows will get use to this and you have increase the dose of beano. Then beano might cost cause to much. Then again maybe the cow will not digest the grass they eat because of this beano or this might cause them to consume more grass or hay thus increasing the amount of food thus increasing Global warming. I think a long term study of beano should be done and post your message here in about 6 months be sure to write down everything. They we yahoo members will present your studies to professors who study this stuff.

Not sure if this question even warrants an answer so I'll be brief.
Cattle produce about 18% of all anthropogenic methane, half of all cattle are domesticated. Give all domesticated cows Beano and you'll reduce methane emissions by 9% - less than 1% of the total contribution to global warming. It will help but not by much, even taking nitrous oxide into account.
