i have a catalog that i done it up in MS Office publisher and after several attempts i FINALLY got it set up as a PDF file, well now they are telling me it may be too big, is it ok to if i go into my doc's then select send to compressed (zipped) folder without damaging the file??? im new at this too HELP!!!!

If the pdf is over 10 MB you cannot e mail it as this is the e mail global limit. Many ISPs and companies have a smaller limit than that.

Often you can compress the pdf and this reduces its size. If it is under 10 MB you are likely able to e mail it. The receiver must decompress and then open it with Acrobat Reader.

If the compressed is still too big, you will have to send it via FTP or put it on a disc and mail it. It seems like FTP would not be prudent for your application.

Because it is a catalog, maybe you should host it on the web.

you can compress big files by moving your files in zip folder: 1.right click by mouse button 2.and after select new menu option 3.and in new menu option click compressed(zipped) folder option 4.after making a compressed folder you can copy your file and paste your file in the compressed folder another method is by buying compressing software.
