Its good for you to speak up for your beliefs...
It saddens me to see the comments posted on how no one has to be nice because you don't accept the trinity, or how you go door to door.
Let's be real here -- Christians on here are pushing their beliefs on everyone non-stop and they are pushing their beliefs as the only ones.
Sweetie -- don't let people on here upset you too much -- they like to put people and their beliefs down but throw fits when something won't accept there's.
Good for you and continue to go down your path.

As much as you hated to be true and as much as you wanted to be false but it is a true religion. Did you not know how Satan accused of Jehovah of being a liar but Jehovah will always be the one true God? It is the same with Jehovah's organization, you can keep all the journals and details of everything. We all imperfect people it very easy to find fault in anyone of us but the one thing we have that others don't is Jehovah God. You can write all you want or say all the negative things about us or the organization, Jehovah will always be with us. I don't know your story with your step dad so I won't go there. I say what I know. In examining others' beliefs and comparing with the Bible, Jehovah's Witnesses closely followed Jesus and the Bible. I tell you what, if you can prove Jehovah's Witnesses is a false religion using the Bible, go with atheist because God was just a fairytale. I will also tell you another thing, evolution makes no logical sense. No one specie evolved to another other than the cartoon Pokemon. Every specie was created according to its kind states Genesis chapter 1 and 2.

"I also like the fact that my religion helps me with my everyday life. It helps me to not do anything stupid like become a acoholic or to start doing drugs or smoke. It allows me to be a good person and to concer every situation that i may face. I am not a member of a colt... i do not have problems.... i do not have pre marital sex..... i do not do any drugs, smoke, or drink..."
Well, same here, and I'm an atheist. I haven't done, nor do I want to do any of those things.
Also, I think people only respond negatively to Jehovah's Witnesses because of the door-to-door thing, which most people have an issue with. I think everyone can acknowledge that JW's are moral, upstanding and nice citizens--but people often take others trying to convert them as an insult.

First of all, I think you should use your spell check, For a teenager in high school, your spelling isn't the greatest! Now as for your religion,Jehovah Witnesses can be very pushy at times, that is why a lot of people don't like them. I know you all follow the passage in the Bible, where it says to Go Ye and Preach. So you go and preach! Granted, you are doing what you believe is right. There are many different religions in this world we live in and yours is not the only one that is frowned on, by some people! Just do like the Bible says, turn the other cheek! Good luck!

True Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses) understand the bible to teach that the "world is lying in the power of the wicked one", and so they work to make sure that they do not become "part of" the ungodly world around them.
(1 John 5:19) the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one
(John 17:14-16) I request you [Father], not to take [true Christians] out of the world, but to watch over them because of the wicked one. They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.
Of course, true Christians do not remove themselves from society. Even if they personally wished to do so, Christians recognize that they must remain in order to share the bible's message of Kingdom "good news" with "the world".
(Mark 16:15) Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation

I'll tell you the truth about why the mainstream body of christianity hates Jehovah Witnesses so much:
Their own lack of faith and inability to adhere to their professed beliefs. JW's are far from perfect, but tend to have far less hypocrisy than other branches of christianity and far less elements of paganism. Most modern christians celebrate an abundance of pagan holidays with an assortment of excuses why it's ok to do so. They use symbols and relics in a way that is clearly contrary to biblical precedent. it amuses me to see people saying JW's are somehow less christian because of concepts that Jesus never actually taught. The idea of the trinity is a form of soft polytheism not much different than other religions that profess to believe in one god that is divided (hinduism, the ancient egyptian trunity of Ptah-Sokar-Osiris and many others).
I wouldn't worry what those hypocrites think if i were you. you don't owe anyone ****

Hey - I have no issues with any religion as long as their beliefs aren't a detrimental infringement on the lives of others , but when I get Watchtower pamphlets shoved in my face with OBVIOUS references to my religion and erroneous inferences to our practices and beliefs, then I have an issue.
I've had you folks over to the house to discuss things so I could understand where you're coming from, but to be quite honest, all I was able to gather was that you call God Jehovah and believe that is his real name (which it isn't) and that we will inherit the earth when the time comes. You take the Bible waaaay too literally, and I noticed there wasn't much discussion about Christ, so I wasn't even sure if JW were Christian. Sorry if this offends but that was my impression.

Good for you kiddo. Next time, just don't send people out to my house on saturday morning the day after my Grandma died (1 month ago). I know it wasn't their fault, but still left a heII of a bad impression.
I love people who are inspired to do good and be good, be it by religion or their own inherent goodness. I just don't like it when someone tries to force their belief on me. Not your fault, and no you're not a cult (any more than any other religion anyway). But just leave me alone, and I'll do the same.
Peace be upon you.

Paragraphs... they help break up large masses of text into easily digestible parts..
As for your religion.. Have at it.. My in-laws are JW's they are very nice people for the most part.. I do not agree with many of their choices they make based on their religion. But it's their choice to make and as long as it doesn't effect me or step over the clearly defined boundaries I have set up for my children (I.E. share your belief but only when asked, make sure to preface your statements with "I believe" or "My religion teaches" the same boundaries I have given my parents who are Mormon) I have no problem..

You love your church and there is nothing wrong with that. I too think that much bad is said about the Jehovah's Witness on here. But hun, they do it to all of us, its not just you. I think you stand out because of the door to door evangelism, that's all.
