A person with a drivers permit must have a valid licensed driver in the front seat with them. Sorry but if your pulled over, you will lose your driver's permit for a number of months, plus a fine.

No. You cannot legally drive without a licensed driver in the car. If you get stopped you will lose your permit and will not be able to get a license.

I would check with the DMV. Usually there is a stipulation that states the other party must have an "active" license (this does not include suspended licenses).

Better read your states Driver's Handbook for that one. Sounds like you need to study up for the written test before you get your license!!

Call your state's license department and ask them. You will then have 100 percent accuracy to your question. Or, if you have a State Highway Patrol office nearby, call them. They will also have the correct and current information.

Nope, you have to be with a licensed adult driver. :( Unfortunately, since your husband's license is suspended, he doesn't qualify.
