Mauser price depends on condition. a true Mauser is not a 308. it is 8MM.

I've seen excellent condition WWII German Lufwaffe Mauser New in box, for around $300.

A riffle is something you place in a sluice box to trap gold..
Everyone is a wise a*s aren't they!

There are over 100 million mauser rifles manufactured. You have to be more specific as to where it was made and any other markings. In 308 it may be a spanish reworked model; currently selling for $ 129.99. See SAMCO advertisement and see if it looks similiar. You haven't given me much info to go on here.

If you are sure the caliber is a 308 then it is more likely a Edenfield. If it is a Mauser the the caliber would be a 8m/m.
If you are thinking of getting rid of it let me know. There were many of these rifles produced and a few years ago you could buy one for around 100 dollars.I have seen new ones never issued for around 350 dollars.

A riffle (also known as a swift) is a shallow stretch of a river or stream, where the current is above the average stream velocity and where the water forms small rippled waves as a result. It often consists of a rocky bed of gravels or other small stones. This portion of a stream is often an important habitat for small aquatic invertebrates and juvenile fishes.

I'm not sure why the army would have a surplus of these, and i was not aware that they come with bolt action (perhaps when there is a thunderstorm and lightning is striking).

Also, buttplate.

I would try Ebay to sell your stream.
