NO... And i suggest you don't put your child on meds either!! I HAVE ADHD... I have learned to use it to my advantage, I have an awsome job and i graduated from college! I have a extrem case! The med's just give you a cruch and an ex use to blame complications on. "Oh I didn't take my med today .....sorry.." When i got in college i worked full time and i went to my Dr to ask for med's because my head would be caught up in every other aspect of my life except the text i was taking. ONLY took them before exams and major tests. ADHD Is a blessing more then you know gives your child personality and the ability to experience things from a different perspective then the norm. Good Luck... And let your child listen to Music or Watch TV when they do home work... occupies both sides of their brain and they are less lickly to get distracted.

It's probably not so strange that they applied to you as well. Many specialists say that ADHD and ADD are usually genetically inherited. If you want to get evaluated for it, why not? But odds are, after all these years, you have learned to work with it already. It won't hurt but if you have high blood pressure, most of the medications will only make that worse.

adults can have ADHD and not know it. children can inherit it from one or both parents. talk to your doctor and see what he says. if you start things and never finish them so there are tons of half-done tasks all over, you might benefit from meds.

Well, I think you should. I heard that most children who have ADHD have a parent with ADHD who did not know they had it.

Well, the nut never falls far from the tree. If it's not causing you any problems, don't worry about it. Oh look, there's a bird!
