The dogs tail is kind of like your back bones only extending beyond your pelvis. They have discs inbetween them but they dont' have any joints. Good Luck

A dogs tail is made up of a series of bones just as your spin is. When tails are cut off (either docked or because of an injury) that are cut at the joint between those bones. If the tail was one bone it couldn't wag.

The tail is part of the spinal column.
It is not cartilage or one big bone.

i might call the vets place of work and ask them. this is a problematic question. relies upon on countless issues.. why did he have the spinal faucet achieved? could desire to he be getting sicker returned? no longer a hundred pc particular on what to tell you, my superb suggestion may be if it have been my canines and that i became large demanding as you're, then i might call the vet decrease back.

It is an extension of the spine and has many joints like vertebra. That's why it is flexible.
