I have been seeing a guy for a couple of weeks. We have really connected and have gone out quite a few times. I really like him, and I think he really likes me too. I am just confused by these departing words. Also with the hug good bye, I tried to cuddle a little, but he seemed to push me away.

everyone is gonna tell you that it means he's never gonna see you again, but guys word things wrong all the time and he might have been really nervous when it came down to the good night hug. you are just going to have to wait and see if he takes you out again. just take it as a sign that he wants to take things slow. some guys are like that believe it or not. if i were you, i would guard my heart. maybe take a step back and let him make the first move next time.

Keeping in touch basically means that he'll keep in touch. If he thinks of you at any given moment he may contact you. It also means that he does not want to be in a relationship with solely you. According to what you wrote I have the impression that you like him more than he likes you.
When he says "We`ll keep in touch" I would understand his words due to the circumstances described, as if he will call you, when HE wants.... this might be the next day or never. It also implies that you should not wait nor call him.
Try to forget him, before you really fall for him.

If he said you'll keep in touch then I think he plans on calling you and seeing you again. It sounds like he doesn't want to rush things --- nothing wrong with that. Wait and see what happens.

well look i am 32 and what i found about that we'll keep in touch stuff comes to a heart break and if he's pushing you away gurl find someone who won't push you away cuz he won't know what he lost til its gone gurl.
