I wouldn't say I am... as a matter of fact a lot of people think I'm quite the opposite.

Well they are trying to understand this life in four directions. One is small, we went from molecules, to atoms, to protons etc., and now super strings. Two is big, right now we believe the universe if infinite, but there are theories of multiverses, and other dimensions. Three is past, what was the beginning, was there a beginning, right now there's the big bang theory, but not a whole lot before that. Four is the future, eventually stars including our sun burn out, what will happen to humanity then if by some fluke it makes it that long.
So to answer your question, if looking in all directions is minimalist then yes, but really......no.
Really i tried to explain a whole lot in a little paragraph so do the research for yourself.

Atheists are minimalist only in the sense of creativity. Their explanation is mundane and thouroughly uninteresting. But it isn't the simplest solution. The simplest solution is, the big man flipped a switch. All that stuff about atoms and pressure and whatnot is just too complicated to be called minimalist.
The atheist's greatest failing is that they refuse to believe things their eyes cannot see or their hands cannot touch. And yet they forget something very important - that the most important things in life, things like spirit, hope, joy, and love, are not things that can be observed in their essence. They can only be experienced inside, by those who believe in them.

I don't think so, There are many avenues of science we explore.. I enjoy reading about and learning about other cultures and religions. I read and try to learn about everything. I'm minimalist in my belief of god. That I don't. But that's pretty much the same as most religions as they worship only one. That could be considered minimalist.

I'm a minimalist, but I wouldn't extend that to my thinking.

You should ask that about people who adhere solely to the doctrines of a particular religion- it doesn't require much thought.

If you mean, "do they get to the heart of the matter, and ignore the fluff"... yes, with regards to religion, many of us do that.
That's why religious people can't debate us. We see right through their distractions, and their attempts to derail conversations that will ultimately destroy their delusions.
