im 15 years old, and i have Psoriasis for 12-13 years and i still do :(,
i tried almost everything chinese herbs, UV therapy, acupuncture, and injections
latley ive been aiming on trying IVs
there is no actual medication that controls Psoriasis,
infact your the only person who can control it.
eating alot of antioxidants, Fruits and vegetables (bannanas daily helps!), staying away form junk food (its hard)
STRESS is the major thing that causes outbreaks!
if you get stressed, find away to destress yourself!!!
Medications, i tried injections called Enbrel,
and i havent tried the IV yet but i will the only negative thing is that it takes 2 hours :(
but if you want to talk to your dermatologist about this. the IV is called Remicade
i hope this helps!

First their are five forms of Psoriasis. I have endured it now since it first started at 16 years of age. I have been through all the treatments and only found Evening Primrose Oil in capsule form everyday without fail works. Since I started taking this, the Psoriasis has started to clear, albeit slowly. I was prescribed this by a Doctor who explained that I will be playing 'catch up' in other words if I was able to get this at 16, but it was not known about then. However I am very pleased with the rate of clearance and no outbreaks. The Dermatologist gave up stating 'Due to the location of the psoriatic lesions, very hard to clear'. I cannot wait to return to see him and say 'Guess what, its gone!'

I had psoriasis for a few years and now it is gone. There are many creams for this. It is mostly due to stress. Depending on where you have it, soak in an oatmeal bath. Soothes the itching. Really does work. Go into a search on Psoriasis. There are many websites on this skin condition. One may have a better answer for you. Good luck.
