the degree must be accredited. for enlisting, any degree will work, and you can get a higher paygrade going in. For Officers, the degree must be technical in nature and you need a 3.5 or better GPA to have any kind fo decent shot.
If the degree is not cerdited, you cannot be an Officer and you may not get any bonus going in enlisted either.

Is the degree for an accredited school? If not, it probably won't be counted for anything.
