Jen3365, if that were true, the Islamic people would be doing MUCH more to defeat the terrorists, if for no other reason than to prove to the world they are not involved with terrorism and do take action to remove terrorists from their groups.

I am not a terrorist. I will answer your question....for a terrorist it is easy to say Islam is their religion because so many people in the west do not understand Islam.. so the terrorist milk their ignorance and use Islam as a shield to divert the attention to innocent people rather then where the attention should be....
