Without a religion of some sort change would NOT come about. Early there were mythological characters, which are still worshiped some where
Any belief, incluing Athesism, is a religion.
Religious beliefs changes people's attitudes, ergo changing behavior ergo changing the world.
At the present -- Islam is making headlines -- are they changing the world? You bet they are -- their goal is to kill anyone who does not practice their religion.
With Catholics, Protestants, Mormons, Buddists, Scientology, Islam, Athesism -- each brings a different prespective to the table.
THE US WAS FOUNDED BECAUSE PEOPLE SOUGHT PERSECUTION FROM RELIGIOUS BELIEFS. However and for myself -- Jesus and God were their beliefs. These others have become more public with the advent of media.
So anyone who does not believe ANY religion changes the world had better look around -- because we do.

Because non believers are under the spell of the adversary and don't know it. They are slaves to sin withou a clue of what they are doing. People change the world whether chrisitan or not. Christians are the escapegoat that people need so that they can feel less guilt for their own part in the demise of the world. I hate being the bearer of bad news.

I don't think that Christians can change the world... and to tell you the truth why on earth would atheists want christians to change the world?... I just keep wondering when they'll stop destroying it.

Although our power is on the decline, we DO still have influence over the world.
The Vatican city is a place in Rome. It is an independent nation. It is VERY wealthy.
Seriously, WE HAVE OUR OWN COUNTRY.
Do atheists have a country called atheist-land?

We bring more medicine, clothes, education, and hope to people throughout the world. I am surprised a non believer noticed.
