I should have stated..TRUE Christians. Obviously not everyone is a True Christian, seeing as 83% of Americans self proclaim themselves as Christians. I'm talking about the real Christians, not the ones who give us a bad name.

Statistically, according to divorce rates and incarceration rates...that's not true. Atheists are more divorce and prison free, per capita, than christians.
Where are you getting YOUR stats from?

Um...they don't. My mother is a Christian, and she makes 14 grand a year. She raised us in a freakin shack with a dirt floor so she could serve God. I have had to pay my own bills and have a job since I was 15 because she felt like she was following the Lord. My husband's family is similar. His father never worked because he was waiting on a financial blessing from God. They were on Welfare and food stamps....you call that having morals?
Contrary to commmon misconception, atheists DO have morals and ethics. We live by common sense based on humanity, not based on some spirit in the sky.

You are reaching with that conclusion. It simply isn't true. I have lived a long time and I have found that the most dishonest people are the so-called Christians. They have the most affairs outside of marriage, they're most likely to rob their parents and I could go on. I think that they are taught that no matter what they do their God will forgive them so they might as well live it up while they are here.

Okay... I normally do not mind it when people say such stuff as that... but really do you have any proof of that. If anything Atheist have more morals than Christians... they choose to be moral... while christians are afraid of burning in hell and act moral so they can be "saved"... as for the better lives... well you don't see atheists fighting and killing over something as pointless as religion... really pick up a history book...

How do you know this? Where is the evidence to prove this assertion? Why do people make such sweeping generalizations about others? This is just your opinion that you are trying to put forth as a fact. Opinions are not facts! Just because you believe something doesn't make it true!

They don't. It's that simple. Visit any ghetto in the south - everyone there is Chritian. No Athiests. Same for the West Coast and most of the rest of the country too.

Nice sweeping generalization mate! You must be seriously bored and/or deluded if you think a dozy question like this deserves a serious answer!
Why don't you get back to your bible - especially the old testament - and keep working on your cult (of one) and stockpiling weapons!

Do you have any proof or statistics for this generalization?
What is the religion of most people in academia? Do they claim to be fundamentalist Christians? I doubt it.
This is a stupid question.

I disagree with your assumption that Christians, in fact, generally live better lives and have a better sense of morals than atheists. Therefore, there is no answer to your question.

You're either stereotyping (which is wrong) or using uncited statistics (and all stats can be skewed however one wishes).
No offense, I think your heart is in the right place, but no need to try and force anything on anyone if they don't want it.
