I do find it very interesting that atheists accuse those who are religious of shoving our beliefs down people's throats, but then they are so critical and shove their unbelief in people's faces, while accusing those who are religious of being "stupid and illogical" ... sounds hypocritical to me.

Why do Christians think they're right and everyone else is wrong?
Why do Muslims think they're right and everyone else is wrong?
We could throw just about any religion into that question, too, and it would still be true.

Why generalize? I don't think I'm the only one who's right... I believe what's right for ME, answer questions where I can, often from the perspective of other religions, and give my opinions in other questions where a general opinion is asked. There are quite a few other atheists in here, also, who believe like I do from one degree to another. Generalizations are so illogical.

The same reason you think you are right and atheists are wrong. We all are entitled to our own beliefs. If I thought that Islam, Hindu, Buddhism, or Christianity were right, I wouldn't be an atheist, would I ?

I am an Atheist... and trust me I am hardly ever right... the truth is... is that all religions have no true proof as to who is right and wrong... its just what christians and others call faith... I mean just this morning I told my mom it was going to be sunny out... and dang it... I was wrong... its been raining all day... we never will know who is right or wrong... because the only people who do/will know are dead.

You use the plural. I can speak only for myself. I am correct in my beliefs to the best of my knowledge. As for everyone else, unless they ask for my opinion, I could care less. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion in AMERICA LAND OF THE FREE. My position is guarded by the combined armed forces of our country.

For the same reason we Christians think we are right, faith that we have the right answer. The only difference is that with our faith, there is a loving God who accepts us for who we are and has gaurenteed everlasting life through Jesus Christ.

To be fair they do have the most evidence and the better arguments.
But really it seems most people think they're right, and people like me who can admit that the answers are not found yet, and I really don't know are the surprising minority.
