so god must of created the whole package of sin, so when man sins he opens that package and he gets all the diseases and all the suffering in the world

after watching people suffer ,i can NOT worship a god who created these things

Yes God put into the world of sin all the terrible things that cause man pain, suffering and death. God also created the possibility for rebellion to come into the heart of mankind (sin). He did not force sin to enter the world. a choice was placed before our first parents, they made the wrong choice.... Jim

God did not create sin, sin came about because of mans disobedience why would he create such beauty and then destroy it. God said everything was created by him and for him. Sickness and disease is a result of satan's revenge because he was no longer in Gods favor due to his jealousy and he vowed to take as many people with him. he came to kill steal and destroy. If you are in alignment with God and his promise for you He will put that protection around you and no devil in hell can harm you. satan has a job to do, but God sees all things and he fights for you when you surrender your self to him.

Aids/HIV is a MAN-Made disease. It was conjured up in some lab somewhere in a petrie dish to be used as some form of genocide.Do the research. EXTENSIVELY. Cancer is a different story. I believe that we all suffer because of the first sin(Adam/Eve). God said that all generations would suffer because they disobeyed him which goes back to " The sins of the father being revisited upon the sons...) When I see children that are deformed or born sickly, that is the first thing that I think about, who in that childs family did something so bad that THEY were punished. God knew we were all capable and prone to sin which is why he gave his only begotten son(Jesus Christ) so that we may have a second chance at redeeming ourselves, and washing our sins away and starting a new.

How can you measure goodness unless there is something bad/evil to compare it to?
Day-night
clean-dirty
evil-goodness

ok for the record you OBVIOUSLY know very little about God if youre accusing him of making DISEASES... thats totally not true! if youre talking about AIDS, and cancer and such, then why not look at the human society these days... HOMOSEXUALITY...something God tells us to avoid..is the cause of AIDS and HIV... and drugs..(blood transfusions through needles) another example God told us to stay away from... our bodies are the temple of the LORD...God tells us to nuture and take care of our bodies for it is the temple of the Lord... God tells us these things for our own good... and i totally disagree when you stated..." they don't magically appear cause man did something stupid like eat an apple of a tree"...I BELIEVE YOURE absolutley wrong..my opinon... because ever since sin entered this earth... human beings would HAVE TO SUFFER the consequences Adam and Eve made for us... and you also stated "don't say man created it by sining , someone must of created those things . "...duhhh satan did..didnt you know he created sin when he told eve to go against Gods word?... ahaha...youre ignorant about this topic.. well i encourage you to read your bible more..and hopefully you can know God a WHOLLLLLLE LOT MORE... because thats satan winning your soul over by telling you "Hey God is the reason for all human suffering!"...thats your CROWN on the line buddy...well good luck!

Because if everything was perfect all the time, what would be the purpose of life? Who would need to remember God at all?

Also, if you believe the universe came from "nothing" and it was never created, then again, what's the purpose of life? If there were no God, why should anyone care about anything? Why not just kill your enemeis - Who cares if you have a guilty conscoiunce, it's not like you'll go anywhere after you die anyway? No, that can't be right.

No, not sin, but evil, yes, and he said so in the bible. He creates the effects that sin causes. What would you do if a murderer came into your house and murdered your daughter, right in front of your eyes? Is that too harsh? Sorry, hell's flames are harsher. If that throws you into a fit, then just consider what God contends with at every moment in time. And think about this, how do we know what evil God intervenes on behalf of man because of?

You brought up the "apple of the tree" and one point needs to be made, "The tree of good and evil was not there to tempt Adam and Eve. This was to determine if they could follow him. If they ate, it was evil, and if they refrained from eating, it was good. So God had to put something there to allow them to understand the difference between good and evil. It wasn’t temptation. It was, “I’m going to go by that tree, and I’m not going to eat it, and that’s good.” Day after day they would be established in obedience to the Lord. Or they’d go by and they’d say, “Well, God said not to do that, so I’d better have a taste,” and then it would be evil. But they would learn good and evil by not doing. Refraining was good. Participating was bad. They were in paradise. How else were they going to learn good and evil?"
Secondly, I had read Tolkein's book the silmarillion, which brought a whole new perspective to me. He made a point that stated God's whole existence is perfection and good. Because He gave the angels the free will, the will of love, there is a possiblility to go against everything God is, not really something that had to be, he could have MADE the angels love him, but He wanted them to make the choice, for then it would be personal, which is why we have a personal God. And when Satan (or melkor in the book) conceived evil, for ever then evil entered the realm of the spirit world. When God had created the earth, His ultamite plan was to use men and elves to defeat evil, so ultimately, if you don't want to hear all that mumbo jumbo about the tree and how God brought suffering into the world I wish you would consider what I've written.
On the note of suffering It is funny how people constantly carp on about the evil in the world as an argument against the existence of God, yet these people seldom seem to do much about evil. Those who believe in God acknowledge the existence of evil, they know it is in the world, and they try to change it for the better.
Fundamentalism destroys the true spirit of religion by reducing things to dogmatically believed propositions, but the real ideal of something better and beyond that we can work for, is far more inspiring than anything some two-bit cynical atheist can conceive of. It’s always claimed that religious people are weak, that they need something to believe in, that they’re afraid. But I see far less fear in the eyes of someone willing to stand up to the suffering and evil in the world, willing to go out into the world and help others simply for the sake of doing good, than I do in the atheist who sits back and thinks himself the pinnacle of existence. By going beyond the confines of yourself and your small world, in service of a better cause, you are doing more than anyone with a self-centered, egoistic worldview ever could, and this challenge is usually met by snarling cynicism rather than any argument.
It is not irrational to say that beauty, justice, morality, hope, charity and above all goodness is derived in an ultimate reality. It is not a crux or a support to directly face the evil in the world in the hope of a greater good; it is a crux or support to just look at the suffering in the world, and turn away in fear.

God created consequences of sin and gave humans the right to choose what actions they wanted. The reason God gave man free-will is because there is no greater love than to choose to love someone. If God created a world of mind-less robots that automatically love him and never make their own decisions, then God would not recieve absolute true love.

Obviously this is of great concern to you. It is nice to hear from someone who cares so much about others. Your feelings are understandable - sincere people do not like to see others suffer. But in truth, God did not create sin. It is more accurate to state that sin exists because God gave man free will. I know you hear a lot about Free will on this site but it has a great bearing on our lives. Free will is the ability to choose. Of necessity, then, the wrong choice can be made. When Adam and Eve made the wrong choice, they divorced themselves from God's continued protection. This is a very important point and it is key to understanding why so much badness and wickedness abounds (right now).

Man was not created independent of God. Even as perfect humans, Adam and Eve could not eat dirt and expect to remain healthy. Neither could they expect to remain young, disease free, and protected from death if they separated themselves from God. When they disobeyed him, he was NOT obligated to continue to protect them. They wanted to go their way so he let them.

Think about it: when you unplug a fan from the wall, it eventually stops oscillating, yes? The fan cannot go by itself - devoid of the power that runs it. It is no different from us. We cannot do what we want, disavow God and then expect to not suffer consequences. Old age, sickness and death are the consequences of sin and sin is the consequence of disobedience. A few other things are involved here but fundamentally, that is what happened.

So you want us to answer your question, but you don't want us to give you the real answer. Alrighty then.

There was no sin until Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. Satan did tempt them but they had the free will to decide to ignore him.

I know you don't like the answer, but that's not my concern.

The afflictions you mentioned are a result of our imperfect nature (Cancer) and our tendency to sin (AIDS, HIV). SInce mankind is imperfect, our bodies are imperfect. Hence Cancer. Since mankind is a sinner and there are consequences for our action, hence AIDS.

If you seriously don't want to worship the one who created these things, then don't worship man or Satan. Worship the God who can deliver your soul to a restful eternity.
