Okay here's the deal. I'm fourteen, female (yea i know, the name & the picture, LOL, its my fav. celeb, im really a girl) 5 foot 3 and 146 lbs! Sounds big, right?
Well, I'm actually not fat. I have a flat stomach, and really muscular legs and pretty muscular arms, because I've trained for sports with my Dad pretty much my whole life.
I get made fun of by alot of people when they hear my weight but don't actually see my body, only with clothes on. I look "heavy" in my arms & legs cuz I'm really athletic muscular for a girl! But I still get called fat and Fatty and stuff and it really hurts. How can I prove to people I'm NOT fat and get them to stop making fun of me!?

Don't let them get to you honey. I've also been intimidated throughout my teenage years because of what I thought people wanted.
In reality, it's how you feel about yourself is what matters. I know how it feels to be in high school but believe me. I've always had this self-confidence which those catty remarks couldn't shake down. Some people may think you are fat but some may think of you differently. Those catty people are just insecure as well as mean. Don't let them get to you, believe in yourself or else they will win over you.
I don't think you have to win their approval, if you manage to slim down to conform to what they want, they will find something else to pick at. Really. Been there, done that. I was even a little bit overweight during my senior year but I was labeled as the "foxiest lady in school". That is a permanent momento :).

The best way to get people to stop teasing you about something is to not respond to the comments.
I bet you are trying to defend your self and commenting back. This will never work.
You can not make other people believe certain things or act certain ways. You need to stop trying to prove to people that you are not fat and live your life the way you can best live it.
If you are athletic, go out and be involved in sports. Show what your well toned body is capable of and let them become envious of what you have/are.
You are much more than the number on a scale. Why are you even telling them what you weigh? That is between you, your scales and your doctor.
Be yourself move your self image away from your weight and others will start to see you for what you are, and who you become.

I wish I could give you some awesome advice. Unfortunately, there isn't really anything that can be done.... People need to start realizing that people who are at a healthy weight are not fat. A size 2 is not the average size, a size 12 is average. Hopefully, companies like Dove and Elle Plus will continue making ads with normal sized women in them so that people will one day realize that.
Just be great full that you are a strong and healthy girl. Probably a lot healthier then the people who make fun of you. Try not to let them get to you. This isn't going to last forever.

if the people youre telling this to is the same age as you, theyre being immature and are illiterate to the health and aspects of the human body. tell them 1: muscle weighs more then fat 2: "you probably weigh just as much as me but its all fat, you fatty!!!" haha jk on the second one...but seriously, they dont know anything and you can at least show them up on being muscular, i wish i could be muscular and in shape like you, and im 21!! and i wouldnt not mind at all if my weight sounded "huge" because of it. at least your healthy. maybe you should do some cardio if you want to tone down a bit, but dont stop being active. its good for you

You might have to flash your stomach. Or punch them in their faces with your huge arms and fists.
Maybe you could go to the doctor and get a printout of your body mass index, which should indicate that your body is made mostly of muscle. Wave the paperwork in their faces. No one can argue with numbers.
DISCLAIMER: I do not advocate violence. That punching thing was a joke. Don't punch people, even though you could probably knock them out.
PS: Muscular legs on girls are awesome!

Height weight charts are not an accurate picture of people, beside being made from insurance charts they have nothing to do with health. Your body fat percentage or BMI is a better picture of you. Being large is not being fat. Many professional athletes are fat according to the charts but have very little body fat. I guess the way to prove this to the jerks who are bothering you is to show them your ability to lift weights or choke them out, which ever is easiest to do at the time. Try not to worry about what people think. I understand at your age what people say is important because we all want to be popular, as you grow older you will realize the only thing that is important is the people you love and love you. What others think does not matter.

You will never get people to stop making fun as it it the only thing some people are capable of. Realize they deserve your pity and not your scorn for being so limited. Rise above them and the best answer is no answer. Your silence will make no mistakes.
If you are happy with your physique, and are healthy, you have a gift and do your best to nurture it.
Then punch them in the face. (Only kidding! Laughter is the best medicine)

Mind control.. Or, stop working out, unless you wanna be some sports star or a body builder, huge arms and legs arent necessary to be attractive. Stomach isnt the only indication of being 'fat' its overall size of body parts too, like arms neck legs *** thighs shoulders

Get an 8 X 10 of Michael Moore and next time they call you fat, get into their face and tell them "I am not fat" then shove the picture in their face and say "this is fat!".

They're probably just jealous because you're toned and muscular. Anyway, who cares what they think? If they won't leave you alone just say "muscle ways more than fat!" because it's true =]
