I would say that you have had it by now. Either that or a letter telling you that they have held up your refund. Try calling your state's department of revenue and ask what's the holdup.

Sometimes state refunds take longer, I'm not sure why that is though. Usually every state has their own website to check on the status, I'm not sure which one you live in, but I'm sure it does. Good Luck !

I suppose it depends on your state. I e-filed and got my California state refund in a week. I would call your state tax authority and find out what's going on.

That will depend upon the state. MO, for example, is pretty good about getting Direct Deposits out on e-filed returns in less than one week! NY, on the other hand seems to have the slowest turnaround in the country -- 2 or 3 months isn't unusual at all.

that does seem like a while, although the closer you filed to april 15, usually the longer it takes. also depends on the state

usually three to six weeks! definately contact them if you still dont have that refund. good luck.
