cos it cannot answer questions:
1. it tells you that a dinossaur became a bird but cannot show you how cells came together to form the first dinasaur. It cannot even explain how a butterfly suddenly emerges from scratch.
2. it tells you early humans were primitive, but cannot tell you how such primitives were able to construct the Pyramids and other superb landmarks.

no, the pyramids is an evolutionary question. Evolution means humans EVOLVED from primitive to sophisticated. As you can see, it is not the case.

I do read science and nature, they can't answer these questions. They won't publish them because it threatens their belief system.

If EVOLUTION does not mean humans EVOLVED, what does it mean?
Biologists are not necessarily the truth holders, they are just that: biologists.

it is very convenient to say evolution occurs over millions of years. That way you can avoid any question. Can you tell me what a spider will be in 2 millions years? sure you can, cos you know that evolution does happen.

no, it is not a science question but rather a spiritual question. For one, evolution isnt science. for two evolution is meant to provide an alternative to creationism. See? it is spiritual. By the way, 200 years doesnt make it correct. Even 500 wouldnt if you cannot answer the question how the first cell came about to form the first Dinosaur. And if you cannot explain the Pyramids, why do you call it EVOLUTION? dont you mean humans evolved?

no, its not a joke but real post. and i did take 8th grade biology. You still cannot answer the question: how did the first cell came about to form a dinosaur?

genetic mutations via 'natural selection' may make small changes in inheritable traits, but to say a dinosaur becomes a bird sounds ludicrous to me. Then you say, wait, it takes millions of years. Thats your only escape cos you keep people waiting.
Evolution does imply evolving from primitive to more intelligent life. Didnt't you learn that humans were primitive hunters then discovered fire then and then. This means an evolutionary process in line with darwin's.
We know that the Pyramids builders werent primitive. Oh yeah, it is because it only took 6000 years not millions.

Evolution is referred to as an urban legend to help the christians cope with the fact that there is other reasonable answers to why we are here. Christians what to make evolution look bad, and this is just a tool to do that.

Evolution is the theory that an organism can adapt (mutate) to better suite its environment. This has NOTHING to do with human technology evolution, though they have suggested a number of ways as to how the Pyramids were constructed.
Evolution does not state there is no God. It simply makes you wonder that perhaps the book of Genesis might have been a metaphor.
Things do not emerge from scratch. What we know of evolution is based on fossils, which butterflies didn't fossilize very well. In fact, they suspect they've discovered less than 10% of fossils out there, and they represent only a fraction of the number of organisms on the planet.
evolution is based on scientific theory, not urban legends based on heresay

Do you need to get to a better source of oxygen in order to stop brain damage? A butterfly emerging from scratch? Where did you get that scientific statement? Wow, I know that all scientists would support your theory on that, wait according to your religion, indeed butterflys came from scratch, that dinosaurs and humans walked together, etc. Of course it is impossible to show how cells came together to form the first dinosaur, did you expect that there would be a map or diagram left after millions of years of weathering and erosion, etc? However, there is more evidence to indicate evolution, than any silly religious snap of fingers and there is everything. And if God did create it all, then why have there been so many animals go extinct? Why would he not just make it perfect the first time?

Perhaps if you understood the first thing about evolution you wouldn't ask such an uninformed and inaccurate question again.
I don't know anything about the dinosaur / bird thing, which means I am very likely one step up from your knowledge about it.
As far as I know, the construction of pyramids is an architectural question and not evolutionary.
Primitive to 'sophisticated' is social, technological, even political. It is certainly not evolutionary. You show a complete lack of knowledge about evolution.
If you had read about science and nature, you would know that these questions have been extensively answered. Obviously you have not read as much as you think you have, and certainly nowhere near as much as you need to.
Study fruit flies for about 60 years. The effects of evolution can just about be seen in that time frame. Millions of years are not neccessary.
Evolution as a proven fact: You are confusing the theory of evolution with evolutionary theory.
Incidentally, urban legend is nothing to do with the inability to answer questions.
Shakespeare never existed? Your journey to the troll side of the force is now complete. Goodbye.

FINISHED ANSWER:
For one, a butterfly doesn't emerge from scratch. It starts off as a caterpillar. It's no different from any other life form on this planet other than the fact that it takes a different form in a different stage of life.
To get to the first dinosaur you have to start at the beginning. The little bacteria that inhabited the earth became new micro-organisms, like the zoo plankton. These things evolved into bigger organisms, and eventually over time to fish, and fish to amphibians, and the amphibians to reptiles. Some of the reptiles evolved into the big ferocious creatures we know as dinosaurs. <-------- Hiya!!! Read this please!!
Now the primitive human. While the Egyptians did live quite a long time ago, they were in no way primitive. They were very smart, and they were homo sapiens just like us. Just because they didn't know everything that we do doesn't mean they weren't able to accomplish great things.

Why are you asking a science question in R&S, is because your intentions are not genuine, and you think you have just disproven 200 years worth of research and evidence.
I admit I don't know enough about evolution to answer number one, but number two was only what 6,000 years ago, humans have been around for a lot longer than that, and humans were evolved to almost the point we are now.

Evolution does not have anything to do with:
1: The formation of life
2: The building of the pyramids.
Humans...Homo Sapien humans...built the pyramids. If you want to know how they were built, take an Egyptian archaeology class. Or pick up a book.

There is so much wrong with what you wrote here I can not even Begin. Obviously you have no idea how evolution works or what it is. The urban legend is creationism all it tells you is godditit. What an easy answer. No thinking required.
The primative man who made the paramids is the same man that we are. Evolution takes place over millions of years, not a couple thousand.

first off, evolution is not an urban legend. i think you need to get your facts straight before you ask a question. modern man constructed the pyramids. evolution occurs over millions of years, not the 6000 years that you believe the earth has been around.

Ok first of all, they do have a pretty good idea how they built the pyramids and those weren't primative men. They aren't old at all considering how old the earth really is.
Evolution isn't an urban myth, the Bible is simply as old one. How people can deny science really scares me. Talk about denying the truth.
