I have read online that children with autism and add are spiritual, and it came kind of close to Christianity, they believed in Jesus and the Holy Spirit and God but believed Jesus married Marry Magdelen. what they claim about children with autism.http://www.merkaba.org/autism/autism_book.htm
and autism and the god connection http://www.amazon.com/Autism-God-Connection-William-Stillman/dp/1402206496 by someone who believes in God and says he has a relationship with Him,yet he believes in reincarnation. There have been deomonic experiences, but I saw on a blog this quote. My Autisic Child at the age of 3 1/2- 4 one day saw me holding the Bible and pointed to It, and said "JESUS", I didn't teach him these things yet! Now this is a young "autistic child" that can't even talk that well, and he had it right, yet many Adult's don't even get It! The very young and innocent never fail to amaze me!

TUBA, I have Asperger's Syndrome myself. Autism's spirituality can be from the devil, though.

My son is autistic and he knows the Bible better then I do. He only reads the Bible or anything that relates to the Lord. I think I am truly blessed.

You worry too much. Your son may have overheard you or someone else talk about the Bible and Jesus and simply learned very quickly.

As for the rest, I've heard the same claims in non-autistic people. These have nothing to do with autism, they are people who have wandered into various distortions of religion.

I don't think you are a mentally very healthy person, but I will answer your question in the hopes of shedding some light to the depths of your darkened, archaic world; those medical conditions have got nothing to do with being demonic. The only demonic thing is your mind and your audacity to label the innocent children and their unfortunate medical conditions under such preposterous descriptions. Are you sure you are a christian?

some people are born sensitive to the spirit... you might have heard of the battle of Armageddon.. well it's a spiritual battle... and some people have a front row seat... mother nature has been slowly balancing nature... when she come across what religions do the body... the imbalances it causes was enough to cause the damages in the stones earth quake Pakistan,,, the tsunami... the increase hurricane season in the US.. she meant that one.. and a hurricane on Saturn.. she's working on getting that clean... Religion causes imbalances to nature... so all those mental illnesses that are called imbalances are caused by it... don't forget one of the premises in religion is my religion good... not my religion evil... so no matter the cause they would never think to call it their doing...So the answer is yes it's spiritual.. but it's not demonic... it's christian...

I think people get crazy with their thoughts and explanations. People that are handicapped aren't demon possessed they are God's special people. I believe God works through them in a very special way to touch people that us "normal" people can't reach. They are chosen special by God just for that purpose. I can't believe some people would even think that way.

Are you a Christian?
If so, do yourself a favor and stop reading that garbage that is based on man's wisdom.
Pick up your Bible; study and read about Jesus, and you won't have to ask such questions.

No, I'm sorry that is definitely not right.

God clearly taught in the bible that these so-called "mental illnesses" are in fact demonic possessions. That's why Jesus constantly cast out devils. Pray for your son with all the faith you can muster, and he will heal in due time. I've seen it before.
