I'm old and don't care about dating anymore.
You need to look at the standards your father has, decide why he chose your Mother, and then look for those qualities your father had when checking out a male; and especially be wary of those qualities which your father had when checking out males that interest you. Look for the best qualities of your father and seek additional standards that a male has that are the same as your fathers, and additional standards or qualities including your fathers that a prospect male has. Then your father and you may find a better male for your own future.

Sorry to tell you, young lady (16 years old), you can't just GET a guy, the same way a guy can't just GET a girl.
You're asking this b/c youre 16. Wait till you're older, and in the meantime, just hang out with friends and have fun in high school. You'll be graduating in no time and will have time for dating in college.

16 is not too young to have a boyfriend, but it is too young to be looking online. There's got to be a guy worth your time at your school or in your hometown. You can always join a club or team or get a job. Some clubs even have "teen night."

You are 16- you really don't need a guy- they are more trouble than they are worth most of the time. Engage yourself in lots of hobbies and interests and when the time is right you will meet the right one.
