Why do Adult Mexican me whistle and make obscene cat-calls at our young Girls?

We have a small town nearby that used to be a mix of black and white 15 years ago---then we got a poultry plant that actively recruited Hispanics from Mexico, and other places-----this changed the entire town now-----much of the downtown stores are now Mexican owned we have never disliked the people and have even learned how to speak their language a little bit--I am glad to see then gain success and have their own businesses-----just one little problem------they don't seem to understand about statutory rape.....they are wooing and having sex with these young girls as young as 12 years of age-----now thats just pain sick-----and if we walk down the street they make cat-calls and say stuff and act ugly------I am not against them just wish they would get the idea to don't do that-----and leave the under-age girls alone------if I had a child and they did that I would press charges.....How can we get them to understand?
will this be considered acceptable behavior if amnesty is granted?

M.I.L.T.F.---------so what you are saying then-----if a person is willing to break our laws in the 1st place----then that makes them more likely to be the type that will break other laws as well-----right?

P.S.-----I do need to make one thing clear right now just so there is no misunderstanding-----I am not aware of any girls being forced against her will-----but was seduced and tricked into allowing it.-----lots of crude catcalls------some young girls like this new attention they had never experienced before-----those men treat them like queens.

It has to do with the culture and the way men are raised. I know because my last boyfriend was a Mexican-American and his uncle was all into the "machismo" or a Man's Man kinda idea.

Also I have lived it all my life, I am Latina. I have seen it, its a learned behavior, the way men in a family behave the young boys learn it and think its okay, its not correct it, double standards, everything has a part in this mentality ...

Not all Hispanic men act in this way. The guys that act this way come from the poorest of towns and have not learned social etiquette and that in America there are rules against this kind of behavior. All they are told is go to America and make alot of money with someone else social number and send us money to survive. We as Americans must stick together and enforce the law and protect our girls. These young girls do not refuse because for the first time in their life they are being told in a crude way that they are "pretty". We as the parents must stop this sexual harrassment of our young ladies. We should not be learning their language they should be learning ENGLISH and proper behavior they are in AMERICA not MEXICO. Amnesty is not about opening the doors and allowing them to be crude and raping our communities. This is happening more and more in your towns or neighborhoods we all must get together and take care of the issue and this does not mean taking the law into our own hands, because then they will win. File harassment reports get a neighborhood watch started in your neighborhood and also in your town and have the law start earning their money and helping in protecting these innocent girls. Violence is not the answer - it never is.

Some good answers, some not, and some to long. A lot of us have had to deal with this stuff, not pretty. People that sneak across the borders are illegal and NEED to be arrested. But, with the crap in Washington the way it is, it's not being done. We, the citizen of the U. S. need to call, email, and write your Governors, Senate rs, and Congressmen and explain to these IDIOTS that in this country there are laws and they were suppose to be enforced, it's time to do it! The cleaning has to start somewhere! In cleaning it we will also be securing it. A little message to Kyle b--- My friend is black and so is his wife and daughter. First of all...
1. Hispanic adult males are not the only males exhibiting this type of behavior (that is an extremely racist comment you have made)
2. Girls at 12 years of age can, I know I have myself, can act in a way in which would not allow for this behavior to be acceptable.
3. Problem is the girls tend to like this type of attention and feed upon it which generates more of this type of behavior
4. Your town should embrace different ethnic backgrounds. Make everyone aware that unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated and join together as a community. But never pit one race against another.

You people r so ignorant!! What does being Mexican have anything to do with it?? You guys,especially the asker, need to get you nationalities straight. Just because people have brown skin, black hair, dark eyes and speak Spanish doesn't mean they r Mexican. They can be from El Salvador, Honduras and/or any other Latin place in the world. If you look at the statistics, you will see that the majority of the rapists in "your" country are your very own "white" people. Of course, there are also many hispanic and african-american rapists. Even young white kids are ganging up and raping poor girls out there. Does that mean all white people are rapists???

Like others have said, because of culture. They come from a "macho" dominated country and think they have the right to it. I also grew up in a small town, and it sickened me and it still does that 27-3? would date 13-17 year olds. They couldn't get Mexican women their own age because most of them were already taken. And I do not think this will ever be acceptable and they will have to learn that that is just sick.

i know what you mean. up the street from where i live there is a House of adult Mexican men. they sit on there porch and watch whistle and make cat calls to girls as young as ten! it disgust me how nothing is done to these men.they whistle and do other things to get teh girls attention and teh make obscene gestures and comments. aren't there laws against these kind of things? and why doesn't anybody do something about it?
