why aren't there other religions that suffer from this depravity? what does it say for their faith in GOD?

There's plenty of other molesters out there. The clergy just get the most press coverage because society holds them to a standard that is higher than the one they hold themselves to.
In the last six months here, there's been one clergy member, and four "civilian" molesters.
If "John Smith" gets picked up, well, it's no big deal.
But if it's Father Smith, WATCH OUT !

Christain Clergy do not make molesters. But molesters can become Christain Clergy.

the key word in your statement is seem. The catholics make problems by taking away the lifestyle that god gave and not allowing men to take wives...the insinuation that most clergy are perverts is just ludicrous...
