Why is it that they can not read the texts before asking questions that really do not have any bearing on the bases of that religion? Why is it so hard for non believers to simply see the real truth of a religion, instead of looking for flaws to contradict that religion? This applies to all religions, not just the Christian religion.

When I state truth, I do not mean the human notion of truth. Even our belief of what is fact or not is all theory, based on our perception of the universe. Just because something on this planet is one way, does not mean that the whole cosmos works off of that thought.

Truth as in what the religion is about, the purpose.

I can honestly say I know very little about religion.

I do however know a huge deal about evolution. So taking the little things that I do know about religion (like say for example Adam and Eve) and putting it with my knowledge of evolution, something doesn't connect for me.

Now as for others. I do know many atheists (selnyk, J.P., Icarus and Captain Atheism come to mind) who have studied and do know a great deal about religion.

And who deems these questions "unimportant?" You? I for one think that there is no such thing as a stupid or "unimportant" question. Spirituality is intensely personal and should not be taken lightly...or forced onto others. I for one would be concerned it people DIDN'T ask questions about religion, instead choosing to blindly accept indoctrination. Furthermore, what is a "real truth" for you may not be a "real truth" for someone else. That's the beauty of free will and the ability to reason.

There only goal in life is to attack any system of belief without questioning the illogic of their own belief system, the system of irreligion.

We are all called upon to separate truth from fiction and many don't know what fiction or truth really is that is why we are called upon to be truth bearers. http://www.carm.org/doctrine/100truths.htm

You're assuming that they haven't read the texts. A lot of them have done just that.
