If what it postulates is true, of course. Truth cannot contradict truth.
Cheers :-)

Yes, but I also understand that TOMORROW it could be 299,792,461 meters
I also understand I might get Penicillianese which eats my skin. I also understand that sometimes the infection can't be killed with a given antibotic, especially if it's viral.
Were you schooled that PLUTO IS A PLANET, I was.
Religion didn't stop that belief, SCIENCE did.
I am OPEN to the possibility that THERE ARE Tachyons, many SCIENTISTS don't believe there are tachyons.
I am OPEN to the POSSIBLITY Einstein was not entirely correct about nothing going faster than light.
Tachyons, by the way, defy his rules.
I learn about everything.
I accept that YES, it maybe, indeed, be possible the UNIVERSE was an accident and YES there is no creator except serendipity, but I don't buy into to it.
That's the THING
You have to BUY INTO things
You have to BUY INTO EINSTEIN to discount the theory of Tachyons and IF you do, you'll NEVER search for them and hence you'll NEVER really know for sure.
I buy into God and the Creator concept, but I can see that things could have been accidental.
But the Las Vegas ODDS makers are more with me and my God than with Serendipty.
The ODDS someone or something MADE life happen are FAR greater than IT'S JUST AN ACCIDENT
Sounds like my freinds father (a Catholic) telling us when we were 11 how babies are made.
"They JUST happen!"
Yeah, right!

I do take antibiotics when they are absolutely necessary. Otherwise, for minor illnesses, I prefer to get back by myself. I generally believe in science but I also believe that science, as it is now, is not the answer to everything. I don't have a religion and I find that without a religion, I have more freedom in deciding what or what not to believe. As for your question about the speed of light, I need to check it out first before telling you whether I believe in it or not. You could have made a mistake, you know.

I believe science when it produces cold hard facts. I don't give a flip about theories.
Give or take a few meters per second, yes the speed of light should be measured accurately enough.
I don't always take antibiotics. God made this great immune system to fight off infection. It does a great job most of the time by itself. I limit pills to using them only when absolutely necessary.
I believe we get a better scientific world when God fearing men are our scientists. They start out knowing the truth and they go further in their knowledge. God gives gifts to men who fear Him and love Him. In the Book of Jeremiah God said, "Call on Me and I will show you great and mighty things."

Genisis 1 is in perfect agreement with science when translated correctly from the original Hebrew to the language of modern science.
The Bible says to learn all that we can about this world.
(meters per second ??? sorry I'm an American)

I believe science even if it contradicts my religion. When the Bible was written they didn't know the earth orbits the sun, they didn't know about genetics, the Israelites didn't even have pi measured more precisely than '3'. We keep learning, and historically Jews and Christians have allowed data from the natural sciences to cause them to reinterpret their Scriptures. It is only modern fundamentalism that has abandoned these principles and given their faiths a bad name.

Religion is like a chamaeleon. When science proves something beyond a reasonable doubt they come around but always toss in another lame idea to prove that they weren't wrong or change the interpretation of something in the bible, koran etc.
The pope thinks the universe revolves around the vatican.
Now there, let's see those scientists disprove that!

I adapt my religion to science. Purist would laugh at me, but its what makes sense to me. You can tell me where something comes from, how it is what it is, why it is what it is, but I still believe in the Gods. Science just tells me how they do it, not that they don't. Where some people look at science as proving there isn't a god, I always think it just explains them.

Science is about truth
Religion is about faith
what Christian dont want to hear is when the truth messes with their faith ... other than that they have no issue with the truth
Einstein said ... Science without religion is boring, religion without science is blind

I have always believed that scientifical explanation don't contradcit my religion, they just explain things.
For instance evolution: I believe in the theory of evolution--I believe it's God's way of creating things on earth. I believe God set things and conditions in motion for life to happen, and it's had a dominoe effect in creating thousands of species. I don't see what the problem is in believing both.
