Congrats on your engagement! I got married last september as well... and i was also 22.
Here's what I did... I stopped eating heavy foods for dinner and cut back on soft drinks. I would have some fruit for dinner and I made sure not to eat past 6 pm. You will definitely loose weight that way.. especially the last few months since you'll be running around (and probably stressing) handling last minute details. I lost about 20 or so lbs in about 3 months.
Also.. perhaps you should try doing some cardio.. have you tried Turbo Jam? It works wonders and I still do it about 3-4 times a week.
Good Luck!!!

hi, ashd - maybe i can help. Tomasina Edy here... I recently lost 110 pounds. I have only 48 more to go to reach my goal weight. Whew! What an adventure. Any kahootz - this is what helped me alot, maybe it can help you as well..
Only have water as a beverage. Cut out salt & sugar. Walk daily. Eat 3 meals a day, with one occasional snack. DON'T eat after 8:00 p.m. When you are hungry, chew a piece of bubble gum until you max out the flavor until it tastes like a piece of cardboard. Drink 8 glasses of water a day or more. Use garlic to flavor foods. Meditate. Keep a motivational journal on your progressions. Walk everywhere. Use the steps instead of an elevator. Drive only to work, appointed schedules/ appointments. Boost your ego by having a 'can do' attitude. Dance to music you love 3 or 4 times a week. Try these steps. They might be beneficial. hey, i've lost 110 so far, so i guess it wouldn't hurt for you to give it a try. Good Luck to you. Keep me posted on your progress. Congratulations on your September wedding! LOL :) T*E* //oh, i forgot to mention, bicycle riding added to your rutine will also help alot, too.

You have enough time to loose weight and see results if you work at it. You need to do cardio. Start by doing 30 minutes 3 days a week and increase from there. You need to get up to doing 5-6 days of cardio for 45-60 minutes. Also weight training to good to tone your arms. I have been using dumbbells for 4 months now and I LOVE the results. I started using 3 lbs now I'm using 5 and 8 lb dumbbells. Go to www.fitnessmagazine.com they have a lot stuff you can pick from to do. Working out is key!!!!!!
Bicep Curls
Tricep Kickbacks
Pull ups
Press ups
Lateral raise

Don't worry, all brides lose weight before thier wedding. The trick is not to become TOO thin or to have to have your dress resized. The stress of planning a wedding and working on the details always gets to one!

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

People who plan their weekly meals are more successful at losing weight than people that don’t. Plan your dishes to add healthy carbs such as sweet potato and wholegrain pasta, greens and lean proteins, buy each of the ingredients in advance and don’t be tempted you can eat out or order in.

Suck that in. Consciously hold in and contract your stomach muscles while you’re walking, sitting at your desk or making the an evening meal. This will help to strengthen your abdominals and your core, and provide you with one step closer to a new flatter stomach.

Eat goats cheese as an alternative to regular cheese. It contains 40 per cent fewer calories than the cheese created from cow’s milk.
