They are the kindest animals I have ever come in contact with. They absolutly love life, they are very very easily trained, and they love affection. They are very loyal and happy dogs. Can you tell I have one? Mine is ten months old and we just love him.

What do you mean, Black Labs? Some good traits about Labs in general...playfulness, intelligent, good with children, non-aggressive. They love water, can become a family pet, hunter, guide dog, therapy dog, search and Rescue dog, and countless other things, but a Black Lab is no different than a yellow or chocolate lab.

I can't even think of a bad trait. They're loyal, constantly loving, very intelligent and they put up with just about anything, which is great for families with kids.

They don't shed as much as yellow ones. THey are very loyal ...good watch dogs, playful with children and love water.

I have known several and they have all been really nice dogs, friendly, intelligent, active, fun, and great swimmers. I like em a lot.

Great temperment, great swimmers, luvy duvy, smart, great with kids.... list goes on and on! Great dog to own if trained properly!

They are water dogs good temperment with children too.

very good dogs for bird hunting, great swimmers, good family dogs for kids!
very protective for thier familys!
usually very smart dogs!
love to play fetch with tennis balls!
