Just look at this clear warning:

"And behold, those that hearken not unto God shall be struck down with a sword from without and with terror from within, and shall reap bitter destruction. I will also send the claws of beasts upon them, and the poison of serpents into their bodies."

1 Chron. 21:12

Of course. It certainly is the true and only source for "How to Live Your Life". As you can see by some of the answers you will receive, people do not respond kindly to one such as you. The depth of your understanding is so profound, that it tends to make the hair on the back of the necks of most people stand up -- you push them out of their comfort zone with your spirituality and 'fire and brimstone' warnings. That is not to say you are not correct in your understanding of the Bible. However, as you probably already know, most folks (to quote a line in "A Few Good Men") can't handle the truth. Frankly, I believe to acknowledge these truths would require people to adjust their decadent lifestyles--something most will not consider. I've taken to the 'keep it simple' method of imposing my religious truths to others and that seems to get their ear without them turning tail -- I simply declare that if each and every one of us would just live by the Golden Rule, this world would be a better place. The Golden Rule knows no particular religious denomination, is not racist, or prejudice--it says nothing that could offend and it is impossible to negate its' truth. I find it is a first step to lead someone's mind to the Lord. First, you need to get them to listen...In any event --- that quote from 1 Chron. is most profound -- another "you reap what you sow".

Yeah, too bad that was written about the nations the Israelites were fighting back then

But you can apply it to today too, others have been doing the same thing for oh, about 3 thousand years or so

Your god is always getting ready to kill somebody

Funny thing is, I don't recall any nation being killed by beasts claws and serpent poison, do you? If so please provide details

I love God's Word, am hungry to read and meditate on it day and night. It brings discipline and change to my life, in order that I can glorify God, which is the purpose for which I was created.
