That is why you DO NOT BUY A CAR WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE A LISCENSE...I think it is probably time that you started to use a little more common sense in big decisions like spending the type of money a car costs. Consult your parents or another responsible adult before you do something big again....

I don't know about your area, but in my state I think you can own a car without having a driver's license. You just couldn't get valid license plates for it. So you may have screwed yourself in a couple of different ways here.

Thats sucks. You will have to take him to court to either get the car back or the money you paid for it. If you have any recipts of car payment from a check you wrote or anything that says you paid for it, that should work. Good luck.

No., your boy friend took the car you bought for HIM. Is it not registered in HIS name? If you try to sue him, he will just say the car was a gift, and the burden of proof will be on you to prove that it wasn't. You just learned one of life's lessons
Now please tell me that you haven't given anyone a cell phone that is in YOUR name. If you have, you will soon be learning another one of life's lessons.

Unless you have a title that names you as the legal
owner and your boyfriend as the registered owner,
you have nothing but bad memorys. He however
has all the liability that comes with ownership.

This is exactly why you never co sign for anything or put someone's else name on something you are paying for. You've learned a valuable lesson.

And? You scammed by putting it in his name, so it became his car. Emphasis on HIS. Not a thing you can do about it, except hopefully learn from this, get your license and don't do it again.
